Fruit and vegetable producers Pays De La Loire

The Potager de Saint Julien, run by the Fondation d'Auteuil, is a work-integration program that enables some fifteen employees to gain access to a professional activity through organic market gardening, and to prepare for a move into sustainable employment through socio-professional support. Every day, the site team prepares the soil, plants, sows, cultivates and cares for 60 varieties of fruit and vegetables, which are offered for sale in fresh, seasonal baskets every week to consumer-actor members and professionals on order (biocoops, restaurants, institutional catering). Becoming a potager consom'acteur means doing good for the planet by choosing organic and local produce, and above all, it means helping men and women to bounce back and regain confidence in the future! There are two production and collection sites, one in Bouguenais-Les Couëts, the other in Saint-Julien-de-Concelles.

At the Chebuette farm, come and get a change of scenery in the countryside on the banks of the Loire. Depending on the season, we stock up on fruits and vegetables to eat well and for the pleasure of strolling through the beautiful and colorful stalls of the farm's store. In summer, strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, rhubarb, are in the spotlight. In the beautiful store, you will also find a nice selection of local and regional gourmet products with creamery, delicatessen, honeys, jams, sweets, drinks and wines. While the children admire the animals!

So, we can't resist the temptation of batavias, Chinese cabbage, turnips, spring onions, fennel, celeriac, potatoes, carrots, zucchinis, basil, chives... and strawberries. Two production and collection sites, one in Bouguenais-Les Couëts, the other in Saint-Julien-de-Concelles.

The village of Grézillé is located in a rich and fertile region where the land has always produced a wide variety of vegetables and fruits. Cherries of Anjou is one of these orchards, led by Boris Poinreau. For the sake of respect for the environment, this cherry producer is a sensible farmer and opens the doors of his family farm. Another orchard is located in another commune, further south, in Tigné. From late May to mid-July, we are invited to pick up its cherries on one of the two farms. Various species are present here, but the one that gave the company name is specific to these orchards and is a registered trademark and labeled "Product in Anjou". The laziest can also buy cherries already picked, or even book their basket over the Internet!

Cueillette Duverger in Entrammes is 7 minutes from Laval, on the road to Château Gontier. This farm invites you to pick your own seasonal fruit. Equipped with a wheelbarrow to transport your finds, take a stroll with your children and fill your baskets with delicious cherries, currants, plums, blueberries and apples, depending on the season. The owners will guide you to the best spots. Don't forget to try their delicious fruit juices and jams, made from 100% Mayenne fruit. It's a great idea for an outdoor family activity.

François and Eva are organic fruit and vegetable producers. François offers only seasonal produce. Depending on the season, you'll find garlic, green beans, tomatoes, eggplants, zucchinis, peppers and Chinese cabbage. Fruit includes plums and figs. Also on sale in the boutique are the "well-being" products of Eva, his wife, who produces dried flowers in hydrolats, macerates, syrups and jams. She also produces organic CBD hemp, available as flowers, oil and, soon, herbal tea.

Biocoop Maraichine is an organic food store. It offers a wide range of organic products, including solid cosmetics, skincare products, bulk produce, seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheese by the slice from local producers, local wines and a selection of organic wines, as well as local Maraîchine meat. Customers can make their purchases in-store or pick them up on site.
