THE COINTREAU SQUARE
Read moreThe only production site of the Maison Cointreau. We come here to discover the distillation process of this Angevin liqueur. Bathed in the fragrances of orange peel, the copper stills room reveals the stages of its conception before giving way to the museum recounting 170 years of family conquest and advertising saga as well as the history of cocktails. Then a tasting awaits you before going to the shop, where you will discover the whole world of Cointreau: from chocolates to griottines, honeys, babas and jams.
WHISKY DISTRICT
Read moreA great address for whisky lovers! This spirits cellar, run by Marc Mothé, a true enthusiast, offers several hundred references. Other "treasures" include rums, armagnacs, cognacs, calvados, absinthes, tequilas, vodkas, sakés (the only spirit in the store that is not a spirit) and other lesser-known traditional Japanese spirits. One Saturday a month, Marc organizes introductory tasting workshops on whiskies and rums.
