At the gateway to the park of the Château de Versailles, the Ferme de Gally is a former priory that has played an important agricultural role in the Paris beltway for centuries. Established by the fathers of the Sainte-Geneviève du Mont abbey, it once provided a relay of livestock and fresh produce, grain and hay for the growing Paris market. Since the ^mid-18th century, the Laureau family has been in charge of farming.
