La Batterie is no more and no less than a former military fortification erected at the end of the war against the Prussians. A unique site and a 450-seat venue where you can listen to all kinds of contemporary music. La Batterie has played host to groups such as Thérapie Taxi, Kimberose, Sly Johnson and the singer Rose... Finally, the venue boasts three fully-equipped, soundproofed rehearsal studios, where you can book on-stage accompaniment sessions; as well as a music and dance school, and a bar-restaurant.

La Candelaria is first and foremost a taqueria, or tapas bar. The place is as poetic as you could wish, the prices are very reasonable and the daily concerts are of the highest quality. A brand new showroom that opened in 2011. The gauge, adjustable, contains 299 seated persons and 600 standing persons. Its programming is that of a city theatre with theatre, dance, humor and music. Brands Theatre has been a historic monument since 1982. Inaugurated in 1852, this building is the cultural memory of the city. In the program, of course, zazapunch which is a classic: rum, exotic fruit juice (fruits of passion, mango, guava) and spices (vanilla and/or ginger). This is a real delight! Latest of the constellation of the Experimental Cocktail Club, the establishment offers stunning cocktails for less like the Salers Smach (Salers gentian, absinthe, champagne, fresh mint and squeezed lemons). A unique experience and a nice place with great charms we highly recommend...

One of the incontournables of the neighborhood. The Hardware is for several years now a cozy place, dressed with wood and lit just right, and obviously invaded with beautiful decoration objects: the chic Bohemian spirit, in a way! It is a bar open all day, but it is also a restaurant with continuous service until late. It's cool, classic and very original, and it's cool and good enough. Salads and a dish of the day complete a simple card. Beware, the place is very busy, despite the very high competition in this sector. Finally, many cocktails are offered.

Welcome to the land where rum is king! This Chester Art, to elegant and classy, is indeed a rum distillery and popular with the young people since its opening in 2012. Suffice to say that everything is here to get drunk with passion: more than 50 rum flavours await you in jars survivors of the Aegean Sea (or almost, we imagine). Every tuesday, the evenings shooters allow you to discover tastes for 5 € only. Temporary exhibitions are also held there. Very pleasant rum distillery to discover, if you like to let yourself go!

A cantina/bar in the heart of Paris, but yes, it is possible if you go to La Mexcaleria! This warm place honours the many festive places you can attend in Mexico City. Here everything is authentic but, of course, the main attraction of the site is the Mezcal, this typical drink rather spicy based on agave (cactus). Test, like other drinks on the map. On the other hand, we don't recommend the proposed dishes, a bit heavy (we should mention it) and not worthy of the good time spent in this nice bar. 

The show room La Terrasse is a theatre that offers a variety of programming every year. From magic to comedy, through concerts and plays, this room has become a reference in Essonne. Located in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley just a few metres from the CNRS, the Terrace is also in the centre of Gif-sur-Yvette. A location that allows you to find a place for dinner or drink before or after your show.

Close to the Glass-le-Bush forest and a few minutes from Paris, the Gâtines welcomes you to organise seminars or other professional events such as congresses, meetings or training courses. The Jean Montaru Hall is regularly transformed into Cinema Atmsophère, classified as Art and Trial, with weekly programming and hosts the festival "Cinessonne" every year. In his "show" configuration she regularly offers concerts at very reasonable prices. A good way to discover new artists. Located in the beautiful Parc des Célestins in Marcoussis, the Jean Montaru room is part of the cultural lung of this essonnienne city. 

The national arena of La Coupole, in Combs-la-Ville, offers two theatres, a cinema, a school of music, arts dancing and plastic arts and a media library. Built in the early 1980 s by architect Jean Nouvel, it was inaugurated by Danielle Mitterrand on 15 November 1989. For performances, the two national arena halls offer 800 spectators for the arena as an amphitheatre. The theatre can accommodate 325 seats. It allows you to host performances with a scene and a cinema with a motorized screen.

Biotechnologies de la Biotechnologies Cinema is a 10-room multiplex with a capacity of 128 to 442 seats, or 2 150 spectators at the same time. The screens reach up to 20 metres long with Dolby stereo sound. Three rooms are equipped to broadcast movies in 3 D. To wait for the start of your film, video games and arcades are available at the entrance to the cinema. Throughout the year, many animations are planned, including the distribution of the most anticipated films in front of the director and actors.

Built in 2011, Espace Pierre-Bachelet is the largest concert hall in Seine-et-Marne. It has all the scenic equipment and absolute comfort to make you spend a pleasant time. With a total capacity of 2 500 places, the galleries are adjustable and retract to leave room for a free floor to organise fairs or exhibitions. Thomas Dutronc has already performed on this scene and has to be followed for the 2012-2013 cultural season by Laurent Gerra, Les Ballets Moroshka, Frédéric François and the Blue circus of Vietnam.
