Brave and tenacious like the famous musketeer, Radio d'Artagnan began broadcasting in 1986 from a small caravan equipped with an antenna. Since then, many volunteers have worked hard to keep this local, community radio station alive, broadcasting music from all eras, with slots reserved for the 1960s-1970s and 1980s-1990s. Today, Radio d'Artagnan remains a popular online radio station on the hillsides. Every September, it also organizes a popular concert in Nogaro.

Founded in 1846 by François Arago, L'Indépendant is one of the oldest French daily newspapers. Circulated mainly in the Pyrénées-Orientales and Aude departments (since 1932), it relays all the news from the major sectors of the region: Narbonne, Lézignan, Limoux, Castelnaudary, Port-La Nouvelle, Carcassonne... Le Tarn Libre is a monument of the Tarn press, as this weekly was first published in 1835. Created under the title Journal du Tarn, it is one of the oldest newsletters in France.
