Le Lot is a department rich in cliffs and natural environments, which is the joy of climbers grouped in four clubs (Cahors, Gourdon, Puy-la'Bishop and Gramat) which are found within the departmental committee chaired by Laurent Peyral. The committee took the initiative to publish a guide listing 600 tracks on a dozen cliffs (Autoire, Montcabrier, Milhac, Saint-Géry, Worms, Cele Valley, Arcambal and Lot Valley) for sale in the tourist offices.

A bridge between schools and associative tissue, the Sports Directorate allows young people between the ages of 7 and 14 to access leisure, workshops and sports courses organized by the city's animation-coordination service. These are proposed physical activities of full nature, in the river, in caves, in the sea or in the mountains. On a fee that takes account of the public's income, these activities complement the services of other sports clubs (CLSH and Youth Service). The supervision is provided by territorial educators, all state-patented and/or licensed in science and technology (STAPS). Relais de la Fédération française du Sport Universitaire, its objective is to promote and organize the practice of sport for students. The FFSU issues licences, manages sporting events and competitions. The CRSU brings together clubs of aikido, athletics, French boxing, canoeing, cycling, fencing, football, gymnastics, hand, judo, wrestling, swimming and fly-surfing… On its site, you will find the list of land and gyms as well as the return files.

Regardless of age and fitness, the municipal sports service offers numerous animations to Equalised. The only condition is to obtain Montpellier Sport Card (5 €), in a house for all or directly in the service of sports. It allows access to more than fifty disciplines - gymnastics, judo, climbing, sailing, mountain biking, outings in full nature… - supervised by sports educators from the city and montpelliéraines associations. Some activities are accessible to persons with disabilities.

The Regional Directorate for Youth, Sports and Social Cohesion is mainly involved in three areas: social policy, by preventing and combating exclusion on the ground, that of youth policy with measures to inform and integrate young people into society and that of sports policies around practice, training and sports certification. This is where you will be able to obtain the necessary information about the physical and sports activities proposed in Midi-Pyrénées, but also inform you about the prevention of doping, the programming of sports equipment, the health of amateurs like high-level players or the fight against violence in sport… And even training for a trade in sport!

This body, elected by the representatives of the various clubs in Béziers, works in relation to the town hall of Béziers, the department and the region to develop and promote the practice of sport in the Biterrois.
