The origin of the Camargue race dates back to the 15th century, but it was at the end of the 19th century that it really developed, many small arenas were then built to bring man and bull into conflict. But this is not about fighting or killing, but rather passes full of skill and elegance, a race for honour. This honour is materialized by attributes fixed on the forehead and between the horns of the bull, formerly flowers, scarves, tricolor cockades or motto in the colors of the manade and sometimes even sausage or victuals. Today, there are six of them, two strings around the horns, an acorn on each, a cockade on the forehead and a forehead behind the animal's forehead. Calade and the town of Sommières organise this ^3rd Christmas Corrida in the heart of the medieval town. It includes 3 festive races on the Christmas theme in a historical setting and in a musical atmosphere (Batucada and Samba). Each trail, one of 24 km (500 m de-leveled) and one of 10 km (200 m), will be on marked paths, in one loop, on the plateau of the Levézou Mountains and Lakes.
These trails will discover a sublime nature between the heritage, forests and lakes of Lévézou.

Notice to Sunday joggers and compulsive sportsmen! The town of Salles-d'Aude will host its Strides on 15 August. The program? A 10,5 km walk without difficulty, in town, as well as several children's tests in order to allow young people to participate. In short, an ideal event to put himself in a family or put himself back into a family, without pressure, and especially without sweating and water! So put the trainers and your brands together? The commune of Montgiscard welcomes the sporting event of the Round of Chardon every month in April. Two races of 5 km and 10 km will then be made available to passionate, casual and more trained athletes. The routes alternate between asphalted roads and countryside roads, with a positive 200 m. There are no great difficulties in prospects; who knows, maybe you will find your ideal jogging itinerary?

Hiking or walking, 10 or 14.7 kilometers, the sporting event of the Coteaux aureilhanais will leave you all the pleasure of choosing! In early April, each year, more than 200 participants participate in this user-friendly challenge. The rolling paths alternate between roads and unpaved roads and evolve partly into underwater. A good opportunity, if you live around the corner, to find your ideal jogging itinerary!
