The farmyards around Mauvezin welcome runners and cyclists for a foie gras tasting race.

Every year, on the second weekend in October, the traditional Ronde des foies gras race takes place around Mauvezin. The 25-kilometer route takes in seven local farms. Runners and cyclists stop to refuel with whole foie gras. Nearly 2,000 cyclists take part in the race as well as the snack. As at Jacques Martin, they all win and are rewarded with the same prize: a T-shirt and a tin of foie gras. A convivial meal is organized in the covered market after the race, bringing together runners and organizers.
