The first weld rail of the Toulouse tramway was carried out on 19 June 2008. This line will connect Toulouse (Les Arenas) to Blagnac and Beauzelle (Andromeda district). It will be connected to line A of the subway, line C (TER) and bus lines. The commissioning is planned for 2010… this will allow us time to talk about it with more details.

The Lourdes train station is about 700 meters east of the Sanctuaries and most of the hotels in the Marian city. The station is on the Toulouse-Bayonne line. There are direct trains from Paris, and it takes 5 hours during the day. There is also a night train which connects the Paris-Austerlitz station to Lourdes in 10 hours 30 minutes. Finally, special connections are set up during the periods of pilgrimage, linking the city to all of Europe. Lourdes is also linked to Tarbes by train.

To get to the Théâtre de la Mer on concert evenings, a public boat-bus service has been set up by the town of Sète. Park your car at the Mas Coulet parking lot and board from the Quai Paul Riquet towards the Quai de la Consigne. Departures are every 20 minutes. The crossing is free, and you can enjoy an evening at the festival without wasting time looking for a parking space. What a charming way to travel by boat!

When the weather's fine, boat shuttles run between the Île singulière and Mèze. From the Sète train station bridge to the port of Mèze, the crossing takes around 40 minutes, and there are 7 round trips a day. The boat has a capacity of 95 seats, 70 of which are covered, and is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. There is also space for strollers and bicycles. It's a great way to get around in a gentle and unusual way.
