Tarbes and the Hautes-Pyrénées department are at the crossroads of the mountains, the Atlantic and the Mediterranean coasts, and enjoy an excellent location that attracts a growing number of tourists. The station is well served by the rail network and the site is very busy during the winter and summer seasons. Several TGV, Intercity and sleeper trains connect Paris to Tarbes via Pau and Bordeaux. The TER network also allows to reach some high altitude resorts and the Basque Country.

If you arrive in Toulouse by train, you will disembark at the Matabiau station. It is a ten-minute walk from the city centre and is served by the metro. The bus station is nearby and there is a connection with the airport shuttle. Montpellier Méditerranée Airport is located 8 kilometres from the city centre, a 10-minute drive. The historic centre is easily accessible from the airport thanks to a shuttle, taxi and car rental service. Close to the Le Causse/Espace d'entreprises site, this modern airport created in the 1990s offers a regular flight service to Paris-Orly (32 flights per week). The Castres-Mazamet-Orly West air link is operated by Air France and Amalia International - and connects to the capital in only 1h15! Hérault-Transport provides daily connections between Sète and Marseillan via Marseillan-Plage (line 323), between Béziers and Marseillan (line 210) and between Agde and Marseillan-Plage (line 274). Cap d'Agde has two perfectly equipped ports: the main port and the Ambonne port.
