In Cauterets, we know even more than elsewhere, that water is vital. The famous mountain village is renowned for its know-how in the field of thermalism: its naturally warm sulfurous waters, reinforced by a tonic and invigorating climate, offer a health complement. The reputation of the village dates back to the 19th century, when Victor Hugo, Alfred de Vigny, George Sand and Chateaubriand came to this Pyrenean valley to treat their ailments. Since then, the thermal baths have welcomed about 6,000 people every year. The health recovery is done in a setting conducive to relaxation and in this restful environment, where the pure air is incomparable, you benefit from respiratory tract-ORL and rheumatology cures, adults and children, but also more specific cures focused on fibromyalgia or the new Pleine Santé cure to preserve health and age better.
