LONGVIC - VILLE À VIVRE

Real estate and furnishings
Closed - Open to 09h00

Longvic is pursuing a policy designed for its residents and the improvement of their living environment. If the city does not deny its industrial image, it counterbalances it by asserting itself as a city-nature, concerned about the well-being of its residents. To this end, it has undertaken profound urban transformations in recent years. These changes will continue in 2023, with the production of 650 new homes. The multiplication of real estate projects - rental, home ownership or open-ended - is also intended to attract new residents to the commune and to cement those who live there by offering a residential path adapted to all ages, family situations and incomes.

At the entrance to the city on the Dijon side. Opposite the Ephad Marcel Jacquelinet, at the entrance to the city on the Dijon side, a real estate program by the developer Ghitti, Cours et Jardin, offers 140 housing units.

The Valentin district under study: The former military district located next to the new Place Mandela will be transformed in the years to come. After having undergone renovations and home ownership projects, the municipality is currently rethinking the neighborhood to make it a new eco-district and to integrate a true generational mix of populations.

The Pommerets eco-district. Nexity is the prime contractor for this project, which is on a human scale, with multi-family buildings of no more than two stories. In total, 70 lots, divided between rental (7%) and rent-to-own (PSLA), in single-family homes. An ecological charter manages the entire eco-district. Soft traffic (pedestrian, bicycle) will link it to the city center and the college on one side and to Dijon on the other. Shared gardens will find their place in the heart of the eco-district. The housing units are available while the individual houses are completed. The streets have been named, only by female figures, to give back the place to women in the public space. The municipality has chosen to return part of the project land to agricultural activity in order to install organic market gardening and to include Dijon Métropole in its local and sustainable food program. It is also a way to rediscover the market gardening roots of Longvic, which fed the Dukes of Burgundy in their time.

Clos des Marronniers, a residence of 34 apartments in the heart of the city, on the banks of the Ouche and the green corridor.

Guynemer project with Orvitis. The landlord has led the deconstruction of buildings in the former Guynemer neighborhood, next to the Colombière park. Eventually, the site will be home to 180 new homes. The six new blocks should be completed by 2025.

Place Mandela has been given a makeover. The work was completed in early 2019. The shopping center has been enlarged and is now home to new quality housing on the first floor, combining housing for seniors and home ownership. In total, 48 new homes are being built by the landlord Orvitis.

The city center has been completely renovated. More airy and more open to the city, its face has changed, thanks in particular to Place Mandela. The renovated castle has been transformed into a place of public service by integrating the municipal children's centre and the family counter, both for leisure and education. The new footbridge over the Ouche River links the castle park to the town hall and reinforces the city's green axis. Sopirim has integrated into this charming neighborhood La Maison de Condé, a small residence of 15 luxury apartments.

The former 102 air base has been transformed into a business park. The gendarmerie school has arrived on the site with its students. 200 supervisors and 1,500 learners are now installed there. The site has also been home to the gendarmerie's national public safety training center since October 2017. The airport industrial park now houses businesses in the large hangars left vacant by the departure of the military. More than 80% of the available space is occupied and more than 300 jobs have been created.

On the side of the castle, the municipality is organizing the creation of a new restaurant while every week foodtrucks set up their stoves in the municipality.

CHEVIGNY SAINT SAUVEUR ATTRACTIVE POUR RESIDER

Developer

The commune of Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur is constantly evolving and changing its appearance, with new or redesigned facilities, but also new real estate projects that mark the end of its expansion onto farmland. Over the years, Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur has multiplied its services and assets, encouraging more and more residents to settle here for the long term. Nevertheless, new real estate opportunities are regularly emerging to meet the expectations of people who want to live in the commune.

The Troubadours district. No less than 17.5 hectares of land are currently being developed, ranging from multi-family housing to semi-detached detached houses. By the end of 2026, 250 to 300 home-ownership units will be built by developer Edensy.

In 2024,the Poètes district will be enriched by 150 multi-family homes and 30 lots for single-family homes. On the agenda: architectural harmonization and mixed populations.

Chevigny Côté Sud is the name of the neighborhood project to be built behind the local cemetery. Crédit Mutuel Aménagement is planning to create a garden to green the town, further improve the living environment and create a distance between the housing and the burial site, and is planning 30 housing units in the development. Half will be single-family homes, the other half small-scale collective housing.

In the town center, Promogim is completing the construction of some sixty home-ownership units.

A residence for able-bodied senior citizens, just a stone's throw from the town hall and the town center's shops and services, is being considered with the aim of opening, if possible, before 2026. The Town Hall wishes to offer a solution adapted to an older population wishing to remain in the commune, in place of the old community building.

A new private school group is back in operation. The Les Arcades group, well established in the heart of Dijon, has built a 12-classroom establishment, from kindergarten to secondary school, near the Visitation church.

Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur wins the Trophée de l'Arbre 2023. The town's commitment to nature, which includes the "1,000 trees" challenge to be unveiled in 2021, has earned it this departmental label. The town had launched the challenge to plant 1,000 trees in public spaces such as the Parc de la Saussaie, but also in businesses and private homes. The operation was co-sponsored by the association "Un enfant peut sauver un arbre" (A child can save a tree), which regularly runs awareness-raising campaigns for schoolchildren. During the operation, over 130 trees were planted in the Parc de la Saussaie, a hundred of them purchased by private individuals or companies sympathetic to the project. Each sponsor knows the location of his or her tree, which will make the park even greener in years to come. The municipality is now aiming higher, hoping to plant 2,000 and then 3,000 trees, with the NGO Forestiers du Monde® as another partner.

Further plant densification: Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, which is thus taking concrete action against global warming, will continue to densify the plant presence on its territory with the planting of several thousand trees over the coming years. The first of these projects is the future forest at the entrance to the town on the Terres Rousses side.

The Saint-Eloi residence, in the center of Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, comprises 61 apartments (T2 to T5) in three buildings. The second phase of this program includes a tertiary space with premises for the department's services.

Committed to energy efficiency, the commune is stepping up its efforts to make the town "a laboratory for energy transition", with the renovation of its buildings, including the Ez Allouères and Buisson Rond schools, the switch to 100% LED lighting and the replacement of boilers by heat pumps in certain communal buildings.

A skate-park project in the Parc de la Saussaie: a 500 m² area will be dedicated to skates and rollerblades. The project is part of a participatory approach. Skateboarders can register at [email protected]

Over 200 events every year: organized by the town, the cultural department or associations, there's always something to do in Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur. The Fête de l'Escargot at the end of February has become the town's flagship event, with over 20,000 visitors.

COMMUNAUTE DE COMMUNES OUCHE ET MONTAGNE- CCOM

Town hall Local authority

Since January 1st, 2014, the Communautés de Communes du Sombernonnais and the Vallée de l'Ouche have been merged: they are now 32 towns and 10,500 inhabitants who united their destiny. La Communauté de Communes progressively sets up a tourist logistics at the service of visitors in connection with the general council. 5 picnic areas are available to tourists along the Burgundy canal and the véloroute. Two hiking paths are inscribed on PDIPR: the trail of Roches d'orgères in Fleurey-sur-Ouche and the Mâlain trail departing from the church of the village. Three others are under preparation around Pasques, Lantenay, Barbirey and Saint-Victor-sur-Ouche. A carpooling area and a service area for camping-cars are close to the A38 and shops. The CCOM endeavours to develop its capacity for reception (cottages, guesthouses...) and to enhance the major tourist sites. It continues thus, in connection with the owners of the Mâlain Gallo-Roman excavations (the State and the Mesmontois archaeological Group), the development of the Mediolanum site for an opening to the public. This site forms with the museum and the castle, which hosts cultural events (including the Witches' Festival) a tryptich that deserves a visit.

MAIRIE DE POUILLY EN AUXOIS

Town hall Local authority

The small village of Pouilly-en-Auxois, located along the Bourgogne Canal, has more than one tourist attraction: wealth of heritage (colombiers, castles, fortified villages in the vicinity…), nature walks by boat or bicycle, on the way to the slipway, or still gastronomic discoveries… Tourists are not mistaken, there are many here with the arrival of the beautiful days.

The main attraction is undoubtedly the marina of Pouilly-en-Auxois, where the Bourgogne Canal passes. Apart from the tourist aspect, this small municipality of 1600 inhabitants, especially dynamic, organizes numerous shows and entertainment all year round. It is based on a highly developed associative fabric in the fields of sport (including a new synthetic football field) and culture in particular. Pouilly-en-Auxois, at the intersection of Dijon, Beaune, Semur and Autun, every four to 30 minutes drive, is therefore a nice city to live!

DÉPARTEMENT DE LA CÔTE-D'OR

Town hall Local authority

Formerly appointed General Council, the Ministerial Council is the assembly assembly, with the aim of improving the lives of some 530 000 inhabitants of the department and making Côte d'Or dynamic and attractive. To achieve this, the Departmental Council has many skills: education with the management of colleges, solidarity with older people, preservation and rejuvenation of the territories, sport, culture, housing, agriculture, employment, travel… Travel that you can do by bicycle thanks to the département and green tracks of the department and even by barge on the fluvial axes of the Côte d'Or (Saône, Bourgogne Canal…)! The Council also has ambitions for tourism… Great ambitions with, for example, the MuséoParc Alésia, who celebrated his 5 years in 2017 and who does not have success. A little advice to the Dijonnais? In the spring, check the programming of the Council… Its gardens are open for pleasant and always successful cultural events! And throughout the Côte d'or, find the Arts & Scenes festival. Finally, the Departmental Council invests in projects to improve the lives of the people with, for example, the platform for the deployment of fibre optics throughout the department, or the creation of a web platform for sustainable development management in colleges. In short, a Departmental Council on all fronts and which is "every day with you"!
