Franquette is the revival of the café de la place, which now defines itself as a wine bar, even a bar à vivre, as Jeanne and Maxence present it. It's already a meeting place for winegrowers and friends, where you can enjoy a Côte de Nuits cru or an artisanal beer accompanied by a board, French fries or nuggets. There are also pastries prepared by the neighboring bakery, which takes advantage of the address to make a bread depot.

On the Via Agrippa, the site of Chaintré is famous since ancient times and it is not surprising that the Cave de Chaintré is itself built on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa which was one of the largest wineries in the region. At Chaintré, it is not only the history and views that are exceptional, there is also a vineyard ideally exposed in the last ramparts of Macon, overlooking the plain of the Saône. The Cave Chaintré founded in 1928, is one of the oldest in France and, to our taste, one of the best. In respect of the Burgundian tradition, it offers outstanding white wines from Chardonnay, flourishing on clay-limestone soils. This human-sized cellar where you are always received with a smile for the tasting, produces excellent Pouilly-Fuissé is regularly awarded medals, of which are a Cantrius, a Chevrieres or a Clos Reyssier. Among the other wines not miss to discover, in a large modern and bright shop, in shades of ocher and green apple are: Pouilly - Vinzelles, the Saint-Véran, the Macon - Fuissé and Mâcon - Chaintré for whites. The cellar also offers almost all the Beaujolais crus in red (Juliénas, St Amour, Chénas, Chiroubles, Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin à Vent, Bouilly and Beaujolais Villages). The winery also produces a rosé wine and a delicious Crémant de Bourgogne. The shop also presents some local products to complete its gourmet basket: Marc de Bourgogne, blackcurrant cream, honey, jams... Possibility to taste the wines, with comments in French and English.

With such a promising name, COM' Chez Nous knows how to be warm and friendly, offering generous and tasty cuisine. Not far from the small stage where the artists perform, you'll appreciate the authenticity of the dishes. Behind this new wine bar are 2 childhood friends from Cesancey: Benjamin Meynier and Emilien Moreau. To accompany the tastings of wines from here and elsewhere offered on site, you can feast on boards composed of local products. Our Canailles have called on some well-known local names. Like O'Cavo, Tibochoc, La Grange aux Pains, Relais du Fumé and Fromagerie Janin... And let's not forget the ambience and decor, which play between vintage and modernism with undeniable elegance. A real favorite!

After taking part in TF1's "SOS Villages" operation, the Casabroc Café opened its doors under the impetus of Valérie Benardin to breathe new life into the small village of Charbonnat. Recycled materials and a friendly atmosphere are the order of the day in this cosy café, second-hand goods shop, tea room and second-hand clothes and books resale. Themed evenings are also organized, as well as food-truck evenings where you can sample dishes from local artisans. A great initiative that we salute!

Au Café Suspendu is one of those places that are springing up all over France, and which we at the Petit Futé really like. A cultural café that's a real place for sharing and conviviality. Always lively and vibrant, the establishment regularly hosts themed events (readings, games, slam evenings...) while, on the refreshment and catering side, you can enjoy lunch with daily specials, pastries and local drinks. A warm, bucolic place where you'll feel like you're in a bubble. Don't miss it!

Located at the foot of the cathedral, L'Angelus is a wine and bubbles bar that will delight epicureans. First of all, a very cosy setting, then a rich wine and champagne list full of flavors to discover. Coco Bango is THE new bar in Auxonne. Benjamin Feuillebois, inspired by Dijon's trendy places, has created an attractive universe with a successful decor in a style that could be described as "tropical chic". The lighting changes according to the hustle and bustle of the moment, with good music and match broadcasts... The drinks menu is largely taken up by cocktails at unbeatable prices and remarkable quality. Planks of cold meats and cheeses for the solid side. Coco Bango appeals to all generations!

Couleur Café is the kind of little address we love, especially when it's bursting with flavour! Located in the heart of the ducal town of Nevers, this coffee-shop has captured the hearts of the Nevers population! Guests can enjoy delicious coffees and other hot drinks, accompanied by homemade sweets. For lunch, a comforting dish of the day is also available. It's a real treat for the senses, which are awakened by the slightest scent, the slightest taste, the slightest crunchy bite. A very pleasant place!

Chez Virgule is open from early morning until very late at night and the following morning. During the day, we serve breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. But the bar is open at all hours. Serious business takes place in the cellar, with its festive atmosphere, wine bar, cocktails, beers and frequent Happy Hours, where you can relax and have fun. Beware, however, that on the evenings when rugby or other matches are being broadcast, there's no room for music! A place for sharing and conviviality, where it's good to take a break.

One of the facets of Fauverney Lodge is the cocktail bar. Non-alcoholic cocktails are prepared with fresh fruit (pineapple, banana, orange, coconut, etc.) to tasty assemblages. One of its specialties, spicy white wine, has delighted us: Cinnamon, cardamome and paan liquor are marrying beautifully. The journey may continue: Mayuri, Janari, Spicy Hari or Siva d 'Azur, the essentials Mojito, Margarita, Daiquiri and Tequila Sunrise, who all delight amateurs. And why not a Whisky Sour (whisky, cane sugar syrup and lemon juice), delicious? It's kind of like the LUXXMY restaurant, only one evening will not be enough to elect his heart. A musical atmosphere with Asian influences. The Fauverney Lounge organizes theme evenings, including meals, shows and drinks.

It is on the Place Saint-Vincent, in the chic and cosy atmosphere of the Cathé that the people of Chalonnais like to end their evenings. People come to have an aperitif at the end of the afternoon, they come to have dinner before continuing the evening or they meet to party until the end of the night. Finally a Bubble Tea address in Dijon! Victoria and Romain warmly welcome you to their pretty shop with its sweet pink and white decor. On the menu, a large choice of flavours is offered to you, for both teas and Bubbles. We particularly like the mint and watermelon blend and the lemon balls. In a more traditional spirit, we appreciate the matcha tea with tapioca pearls. We come back to try out new combinations of flavours, without forgetting the little homemade treats to accompany it all...

Espresso-T is a place apart. Coffee is king here, and coffee lovers can rediscover it cold, savour it by slow Chemex infusion, or marvel at Arnaud and Bertrand's Latte Art. New: On-site roasting, high quality coffees and the launch of their own brand "les cafés Ours Blanc". On the menu: "Les Jardins de Gaia" tea, of course, and without doubt the best Chaï in Dijon. Why is that? Because it is brewed the day before in a clever blend of spices that makes all the difference. At all hours: bagels, croque-monsieur, soups, but also sweet tarts and cakes, including the inevitable cheesecake. Or the carrot cake. To tell the truth, it's impossible to tell them apart.

Since last November, Les Petits Oignons has taken up residence in one of the liveliest streets in the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy: Rue Jeannin. The establishment offers a well-stocked drinks menu, from craft beers to sophisticated cocktails such as the famous Espresso Martini. And if you're feeling peckish, why not treat yourself to our aperitif and dinner platters. On the menu: white bean hummus, parsley ham, tuna rillettes with mint and lemon, or vegetable casserole with Roquefort cheese. Real delights!

"Bierexquise and conviviali-thé" are the watchwords of the Papyllon. As well known locally for the strong personality of its owner, Wolfgang, as for its impressive beer list, the Papyllon is a landmark address just outside Cluny on the edge of the greenway. A large parking lot, a large room and a vast terrace beside the cycle path: everything is designed to invite you to take a break. In addition to a hundred or so beers, mainly German and Belgian, you'll find a wide range of fruit juices, non-alcoholic cocktails, local wines, teas and organic herbal teas.

Run by two very complementary partners including Julien, cook and Thibault, waiter, the Morning Glory welcomes you with à la carte: specialty coffees, small restaurants and pastries. You will also find something to quench your thirst with a lemonade or a homemade fruit juice. For breakfast, try the classics such as the homemade brioche, boiled eggs and their mouillettes, or the so british breakfast with scrambled eggs with bacon and scones. Every Saturday the Morning Glory also offers you a take-away brunch.

At La Pause Locale, you'll find a café, a tea room and a snack area. But here the emphasis is on local products, because fast food doesn't necessarily mean bad food! The region is full of producers, so it is quite natural that you will find a variety of drinks, beers, lemonades... and the pancakes, waffles or panini will be decorated with fillings cooked with products from short circuit. The artisanal ice creams will also be a great success!

Already present in Paris, Lille, Reims, Orléans and Rennes, this is a brand with an original concept: on arrival, the customer receives a card to be loaded with the desired amount. It is then up to them to help themselves to the beer, wine and shooters dispensers hidden in old gas pumps. All this in a warm, colorful and vintage setting. With even a small petanque court inside! To nibble, some boards are also proposed. To note also excellent cocktails. And games and DJ evenings. In short, we love it!

In mid-December 2023, Florent Bardin, a winegrower from Verdigny (Cher), opened this pub which is already livening up Cosnois evenings. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, you'll find a wide selection of beers and wines from his estate (Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé). But that's not all! To accompany the tasting, charcuterie and cheese boards are also available. What's more, there's karaoke every Friday, and a pop rock concert one Saturday a month. No doubt about it, we love this new place!

La Cave du Caboulot, created in 2022 by Lauriane Lava, is the fruit of a passion for wine developed by the owner in her parents' restaurant and during her studies in Beaune. The address is brimming with treasures from every region, and also boasts a wine bar. The atmosphere is very friendly, especially during the regularly organized theme evenings (cider night, Argentina night, St. Patrick's day, concerts...). Aperitif platters of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie round out the menu.

At the crossroads of the road to Lons and the road to Dole, Laurence welcomes you recently in her café-boutique. She has renovated the place herself in a nice cosy atmosphere with indus accents. On the spot, you can taste her home-made pastries: waffles, cakes, cookies... accompanied of course by a coffee, a tea or a chocolate! She also sells tea in bulk, a wide range of coffees as well as a local delicatessen corner and a nice selection of objects on the theme of tea: cups, boxes, teapots... A really nice place!

Chez Bichu is now THE café in the village and the surrounding area! Originally an amateur brewer, Mathieu created his craft brewery in 2016 for our delight. He also offers a new life to the café since 2018, keeping some elements of the past, nice mix between OSB, period wallpapers and vintage furniture. In this hyper friendly place, we meet to taste excellent house beers, draft or bottles that we accompany with a board of local sausages! And we leave with a box so much they will have convinced us!

At the end of 2023, David and Simon Gressot opened the doors of this cosy tearoom, which offers lunchtime catering with a unique daily special. An excellent Sunday brunch is also available (reservation required). Above all, you'll love the fantastic home-made pastries, all made with fresh, local ingredients. At Le Petit Futé, we've fallen for the orange meringue tart and the lemon-green tea and white chocolate pound cake. Not forgetting the Sachertorte with apricot jam. As for the welcome, it's top-notch!

O'Zaviat' is a really cool bar overlooking the Place Émile-Zola! On the terrace, you can enjoy the view of the fountain and, above all, the calm of this pedestrian square dedicated entirely to going out; inside, you can take possession of one of the tables, or sit freely at the bar. Discussions are enlivened by a friendly clientele of regulars who welcome you with simplicity, as does Aurélie, the owner. In short, you'll have a great time. What's more, the bar hosts a number of musical events. A real neighborhood café atmosphere, right in the center of town!

The harbor master's office in Verdun sur le Doubs is not only a place of services for boaters. Nathalie Da Rold who took over the establishment in 2022 has made it attractive to all. The bar, its completely redecorated room with new furniture in a marine spirit, its terrace and its pergola invite you to have a refreshment, an artisanal ice cream or even a nice aperitif or a small meal. The harbourmaster's office is back, and with a superb view on the Saône and the port!

In this former flour mill, the beers are home-brewed, a concept of micro brewery created by brothers Pierre-Elie and Quentin, master brewer for ten years. Located in front of the Cité de la Gastronomie and at the end of the rue Monge, discover this large space with the bar on the side, the visible tanks - 6 fermenters that allow to produce 5 different beers - and large tables to have a drink with friends in a vegetalized decor, with an industrial style, which reminds the Alsatian and German breweries. In addition to the 5 permanent beers on the menu, strong alcohols, wines, syrups, fruit juices and boards are offered. A singular place whose name refers to the film in which Jean Gabin and Jean-Paul Belmondo become friends over several glasses... In addition to being a friendly micro-brasserie, Un Singe en Hiver offers an eclectic cultural program, with its 150 m² exhibition space on the first floor dedicated to digital arts and contemporary music: one concert per month is scheduled, to be attended without moderation

Away from the city center is this bar with a name that announces the color! The good mood reigns here, supported by a menu that invites the sun. Since its opening in spring 2023, Bonne Maison has carved out a place for itself in the heart of Charolles. With a keen sense of hospitality, Tristan Barreiros, former restaurateur in Paris and creator of the brand, shares his love of good produce, collected from local producers or homemade. One of the hallmarks of the place is an original pastis, homemade in the farm workshop of La Guiche. On the terrace, on the pretty rattan chairs, you can enjoy tasting the store's treasures. A fine address for a gourmet break.
