The estate covers 19.5 hectares, including 18 hectares of Cabernet Franc, plus half a hectare of Chenin. The domain benefits from the Organic Agriculture appellation. In this domain, you will find great wines, such as Les Puys, Les Cinq Pères, Le Clos de la Roche or Les Galuches... Wines of pleasure and ageing with aromas of wild strawberry or violet. In the heart of the historic center of Sancerre, this surprising boutique has everything you could wish for. Indeed, as soon as you enter, each room reveals a different universe. Mouth-watering gourmet products, glassware and wines to taste. The visit doesn't stop there, however, as a staircase full of charm and authentic stonework leads us from room to room, where we discover handbags and accessories, carpets and adorable cuddly toys for our little ones. Then it's back down to a room where we find jewelry, candles and many other surprises. It's hard to resist and leave empty-handed. What's more, Karine offers us the pleasure of relaxing in her tea room and wine bar, which boasts an exceptional view of the Tour des Fiefs. The icing on the cake is the discovery of three underground caverns filled with witches, each bearing a different name, with a guaranteed atmosphere of sound and light. In short, a store full of charm, welcoming and authentic, that makes for an excellent visit.

CAVE DES STUARTS

Caviste

1 review

A very beautiful selection of champagnes, rheus, cognacs and whiskies rhythm, historic by its name, but not so old: created in 1989, the Cave des Stuarts is only 29 years old, but it already has everything. Among the selection, we can find very good champagnes as Love de Deutz or the mythical Bollinger, or a wide selection of whiskies like The Aubigny Auld. In Scottish whisky we have Dalmore and Japanese Nikka for example, and in colds we will recognize the Rhum Arcane, Don Papa, to finish on a cognac like Daniel Bouju. Beautiful houses showcased in a sober and elegant boutique with a smiling and pleasant venison that will guide you through its professionalism and knowledge.

BITURIGES VINS - CAVE DU TIVOLI

Wine Cellar Wine House
4/5
1 review

Young AOC from the Loire Center - since 2010 - Châteaumeillant is experiencing a turning point in its history. Blind tastings speak for themselves, proof that the appellation no longer has to suffer from its past shortcomings. Bituriges Vins brings together 11 producers who have joined together to combine technical means, but each produces its own wine. The wine cellar sells 50% of the wines of Châteaumeillant, 2 000 hl and has just launched the first French agri-ethical wine. Daniel Nairaud, passionate viticulturist, created the 18/20 cuvée (a good note that goes without saying but also a wink in the Department of Cher), a fairer agri-ethical wine for the vine grower, the consumer and more respectful of the earth. His robe "pertrix eye" is brilliant. White fruit flavorings are noted: vine and apricot fishing. This very elegant gray wine fits perfectly with summer dishes, salads, fish and the world's cuisines. Also discover the other wines: «Reflection of the 7 fonts», a gold medalist in 2012 and «Clos La Goutte Noir», a silver medalist in the Paris competition. A tasting is necessary!

DOMAINE DES ROY

Winery
5/5
1 review

In the Roy family, wine is a passion that is passed on from generation to generation. Anne-Cécile has taken up the torch lit by her great-grandfather. She continues the action of her father who, already 50 years ago, wanted to produce his wines in the most natural way possible. This will is found from the mechanical weeding to the manual harvest and of course in all the stages of the wine making, which gives wines of soil, far from standardization. The domain and the cellar can be visited and an area is available for camping-cars.
