Created in 1977, the Bourges Spring is the great rendezvous of music lovers, of all current music: hip-hop, electro, French and international varieties, world music, rock, reggae… On this occasion, a wind of euphoria blows over the city that lives a week high in color and emotion. This is the opportunity to discover new talents and to attend the concerts of the stars of the moment that have been meeting here. There are no fewer than 40 performances in various places (top, Palais palace, theatre, auditorium…), but also open scenes where the groups are continuously selected throughout the year, and a hundred concerts in bars, restaurants and outdoors. It's not stop at all corners of the street, for more than 100 000 spectators!

Musik'Air brings together every year groups that are making a name for themselves, but also figures from the French music scene such as Ko Ko Mo or Madame Robert, who will be present in 2021! Volunteers rush every year to help produce this quality festival, which shows us the good atmosphere that reigns in this place! The atmosphere of Musik'Air is relaxed and all kinds of music are represented. A festival not to be missed and which has been going on since 2003 to discover the gems of tomorrow and to listen to the "classics" again!

Vibrate with the rhythm of the gospel… Chartres and neighbouring communes welcome each summer the international festival of Gospel and Negro Spiritual, organised by Cyprian Josson. World-renowned singers and singers come to take place during four or five concerts that take place at the end of June, in the churches of Chartres and the surrounding cities. So if you are amateurs of Gospel and Negro spiritual, do not miss these extraordinary voices, passing to Chartres.

Chartrestivales, they are 50 free concerts and shows to brighten your summer evenings. For over twenty years it lasts, and every year, success is with go. It must be said that brass band in the rock, via the classic one, jazz, the country, the blues and songs from all horizons, music is the festival! The concerts take place from 21:00 to 22:30 on the different places of Chartres, and although it rains, everyone will soon have made fold square Pool, sheltered under the large glass roof.

Every year, the greatest organists in the world meet in Chartres for a prestigious festival. Indeed, every Sunday afternoon, the chords of the great organ enchant the entire cathedral, to the delight of organ lovers. And every two years, it continues at the beginning of September with the International Organ Competition "Grand Prix de Chartres", the world reference of organ competitions, which consecrates the career of a young organist. So let yourself be carried away by the melodies that ricochet and resonate brilliantly between the stones and stained glass windows of the cathedral...

At the end of the autumn, from the end of September and the beginning of October, classical music makes the Eure-et-Loir vibrate. Under the artistic direction of Eve Ruggiéri, the Opera Days place the finest opera voices, not only in the cathedral and in Chartres theatre, but also in other rooms in the department. With a rich program, these concerts tend to gather everyone around opera, musical tales and conferences. Organized by the Conservatory of Music and Dance, this festival joins in the spring to give us balm after winter. In the wonderful part of the Cloître Monastery, concerts (free!) are connected, musicians are running out. In speaking of them, they are only students of the Conservatoire and their teachers, who give to the results of a year of work. And the result is exquisite. Quite simply. The ears are open, they are not lost, they are eaten away, and they are being asked again and again.

A not-to-be-missed event since 2005, La Baule d'Airs brings together some 6,000 festival-goers each year to enjoy the music of amateur and professional brass bands. This 17th edition, under the banner of electro, promises to be a memorable one, with headliner MEUTE. On the program: a fair celebrating "outdoor music", 80 professional artists, 250 amateur musicians and 180 volunteers working to create a convivial environment. An inclusive festival that promotes "living together" and accessibility for all, not to be missed under any circumstances from May 17 to 19, 2024 in Baule.

The Festicolor festival celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. It's three days of festivities, an opportunity for students from the Meug-sur-Loire music school to perform in public before giving way to national groups! The Festicolor showcases chanson à texte, pop, soul and world music, with performers to discover or rediscover. In the grounds of the Centre de Loisirs, the atmosphere is family-friendly, and new talent is discovered. Les Têtes Raides, Nolwenn Leroy, Imany and Danakil have all performed here.

Since 1998, there have been three to five outdoor concerts. All week is an excuse for animations and musical parades. The festival takes place not only in Saint-Via but also in Montrichard, in Ariadne on the Gallo-Roman site of the Maselles and in the castles of Stool-sur-Cher and Sur-sur-Cher. A prestigious program to consult on the website of the tourist office and the happy organisers, Compagnie Jazz. Some like it hot in Saint-Via!

With the festival L'Air du Temps, we are invited to a musical escapade in the countryside. The Bains-Douches, a current music scene, which offers high quality concerts all year round, hosts this festival. In addition to the concerts, there are exhibitions, drawing workshops for children, and free shows. It's a change from the birds singing and the tractors humming! In 2023, Lignières will host the 31st edition of this festival which saw in 2022 François Puyalto, Yves Jamet or Jules Box.

Open your ears again this year in Richelieu, listening to music from all walks of life. For each new edition of this festival, created in 2006 of young international talent, as well as opera or piano giants, will be invited. Classical and baroque music will resonate in the midst of a unique and splendid architecture, and a nature where magical voices are. A beautiful getaway to escape from several exceptional concerts from late July to mid-August.

La Saugrenue is a collective of musicians founded in Tours in 2002. With an impressive musical diversity, the collective offers concerts and live shows for all kinds of events. In its 20 years of existence, La Saugrenue has performed nearly 130 concerts in France and abroad. The collective is made up of 8 musical groups and over 280 artists and technicians. To support artists in the development of their projects, La Saugrenue employs an administrator, a distribution manager and a communications and coordination officer. The collective is supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Centre-Val de Loire region, the DRAC Centre-Val de Loire, the FRACA-MA, the Indre et Loire departmental council, Tours Métropole, the city of Tours, SACEM, CNM, SPPF, Adami and Spedidam.
