Corozal airport is anything but a major airport - some would call it an aerodrome - but its location, close to the Mexican border, makes it a good starting point for San Pedro for those who prefer the air to the sea. Tropic Air and Maya Island fly several times a day from Corozal to San Pedro (Ambergris Caye): 25 minutes at the most for a flight that is a journey in itself, as the areas overflown are superb and offer the opportunity to take splendid aerial photos of the reef barrier and the coast.

Belize City's municipal airport is almost in the center of town, making it very attractive for those who don't have a car and need to fly to another city. Tropicair and Maya Island Air fly daily and regularly to all national destinations: San Pedro, Caye Caulker and Dangriga are all within easy reach. Check-in is quick, as the airport is not large. No need to go all the way to the international airport!

A small, friendly airport with two restaurants upstairs and a few souvenir stores on the first floor, where you can wait comfortably between flights. There is only one ATM in the airport departure hall, which often poses problems for non-American bank cards. It's best to arrive with US dollars, with which you can pay anywhere in the country without any problems. Free Wi-fi.
