The Fédération des communautés francophones et acadiennes du Canada is the official voice of francophones living outside Quebec in Canada's provinces and territories, representing some 2.8 million people. The FCFA also brings together 12 francophone associations and 11 national organizations. Its mission: "To defend and promote the rights and interests of Francophones living in minority situations in Canada, and to act as a leader in the network of organizations and institutions dedicated to the development of these communities".
