This outing is organized in collaboration with a research consultancy and is aimed at families and fans of verified data. This organization offers a series of activities related to hiking in Martinique. You can learn how to read an orientation map, get information on a series of walks supervised by professional guides… Thematic hikes are proposed, such as the discovery of natural reserves or “Sport and Health” outings. Also known as the “slave canal”, the Beauregard canal was built at the end of the 18^th century to produce energy and irrigate the valley. Today, it welcomes adventurous hikers who can walk 3.5 km up the canal on its edge. The paved path is very narrow, alternating passages in dense forest and on the hillside. In single file, make sure not to make a false step, and the first one will have for mission to unearth the small yellow crabs who live in the waters of the canal.

After a visit to the Balata garden, the Absalon loop is a 4 km hike (3h walking time) that starts at the former Absalon spa, whose miraculous waters were much frequented in the ^19th century by people suffering from various ailments. Since then, the spa has closed, but it's the starting point for a lovely (and at times strenuous) walk that plunges you into the heart of the wonders of the rainforest. An old bathtub has been installed to take advantage of the virtues of the hot waters, testimony to a bygone era of thermalism.

Passionate about oenology and an expert in the field, sommelier Caroline Monnier has developed a unique concept at Château Gaillard: workshops and training courses on wines and spirits. The idea behind the project, spearheaded by the Alliance Sports Mécanique club, was to revive the sport of motocross, but in a totally safe way. Riding lessons are available for beginners and advanced riders, as well as quad biking for children. You can also bring your own bike or rent equipment on site.

An old and renowned diving club. Every morning, a single 8 a.m. departure gives you the chance to make two dives in a single outing. Its strength lies in its top-of-the-range, brand-new equipment. What's more, baptisms are organized in a unique way: they last 50 minutes instead of 20, to give you an unforgettable experience, just like a "real" dive. CFTS (Centre de Formation aux Techniques de Survie) is a continuing education center located in Le François. They offer survival courses, including an orientation and topography course. The aim of this course is to pass on the knowledge needed to get around in a natural environment. It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to all. Participants will learn to understand and use a map, to use a compass, to evaluate distances, to use a GPS, and to use their knowledge in an orienteering race. No prerequisites are necessary, but good physical condition is recommended. Equipment required includes water, a flat compass, a change of clothes, food and a note-taker.

The Aquanauts is the idea of Stéphane, a DEJEPS state certified diving instructor, who knows the Martinique seabed like the back of his hand. His objective: to make discover in small committee some coral reefs of the south of the island. The advantage of snorkeling compared to diving: it is accessible to everyone, young and old, for all levels, without the fear of the bottle. In addition to snorkeling, Stéphane also organizes swimming parties.

This new-generation club combines a passion for diving with eco-responsibility. It invites you to a unique experience, combining underwater discovery and respect for the environment. The Caraïbes Sailing school is a tourist attraction located in Les Trois-Îlets. The 3-hour group lessons are suitable for all levels, whether you're just starting out or want to consolidate your sailing skills. Symbiose is the only diving school dedicated exclusively to freediving in Martinique. The center offers a complete range of services, whether you are an experienced freediver or a total beginner. For the beginners, the day of initiation to freediving is great because of its progressive approach. The “Rand'eau aquatiques”, accessible to all, will take you to discover the multicolored world that swarms in the clear waters of the bay of Saint-Pierre. Are you a fan of the legendary Harley-Davidson motorcycles and looking for an experience off the beaten track? Harley-Tours-Martinique offers you the chance to ride one of its motorcycles and discover the most beautiful spots on the island.
