The Crowne Plaza Amman is a little off-center, just above the 6th Circle. But it has the advantage of having more space for its infrastructure: huge outdoor pool in a beautiful wooded area, indoor pool, spa, sauna, and hammam, Turkish baths (hot marble), fitness room ... The small plus of the rooms: the view, because the building dominates the district, and the pastries which will await you on arrival. The rooms are all very well equipped (telephone, plasma TV, air conditioning, minibar, safe, wifi...). Lounge very pleasant, staff with the small care.

This superb hotel is located on the^5th Circle and faces a competitor, the Four Seasons. We like the open air lounge with its wooden furniture and white sofas installed just above the reception. The rooms are very comfortable, but we regret their rather impersonal decoration. We could just as easily be on the American East Coast. On the service side, nothing is missing: outdoor and indoor pools, spa, restaurants..

Its off-centre location is not too disturbing, considering that you have a plethora of restaurants within walking distance. On the other hand, what to think of the rooms equipped with English electric plugs (and without the possibility of lending an adapter at the reception), of their worn carpet, of the traces of mould in the shower, of the indigent breakfast buffet? We would have liked to support this French brand, but unfortunately, with the exception of a design lobby and friendly staff, everything is to be reviewed.

This establishment is especially well located, in a quiet street in a busy area. The decoration is a bit cold, but tasteful and the staff is friendly and warm. Although it is one of the oldest hotels in Amman (more than 50 years old), it does not lack modernity and is regularly updated. It has the famous Cube nightclub, (arm yourself with earplugs on Thursday night), a pub on the terrace, the Jar'D, but also the District and Tipsy Cow restaurants. A little chic, but not too expensive, and very fashionable!

This luxurious, slightly old-fashioned hotel is located at the foot of the Visitor Center. Its architecture is integrated into the rock and it hardly stands out. Sure, the price is very high, but of all the camps in Little Petra, this is the most justified. The location, on a mountainside and in an open wadi, is idyllic. Each "room" is set on a terrace with a hot tub. It includes a "bedroom" bubble with covered walls to enjoy some privacy, but with a transparent sky, a fully transparent living room with a panoramic view, a bathroom. You sleep under the starry canopy, with the added bonus of comfort. Meals are served as a buffet in a maxi-bubble.

A cheap hotel "with feeling" in the center of Amman? It is possible! For those who prefer camping in nature, this camp is ideal: sleep on comfortable mattresses under traditional Bedouin tents, protected from wind and cold. The comfort is spartan, but it is also the bivouac in nature, and for the price you will not be râlera! All the more so as the food is very good and the 15 Djs are worth for at night, dinner in the evening arriving and breakfast in the morning.
