The non-profit Association of Licensed Guides in Stockholm (FSAG) was founded in 1953. Its aim is to promote the tourist industry in Stockholm through a number of possible tour formats in about 30 different languages, including sign language. Departure from the train station and arrival at Liseberg Park. A blue streetcar from 1902 takes you through the city on a tour through space and time! The adult ticket costs 30 SEK, and the streetcar is free with the Go City Gothenburg Pass. From April to September, the streetcar operates only on Saturdays, between 11am and 6pm; except in July and August, when it operates every day from 11am to 6pm. Departures every 15 to 30 minutes. Allow 35 to 40 minutes for the round trip.

From Islandsbron, in Uppsala, you can take a boat (m/s King Carl Gustav) that will first along the Fyris river, famous for its waterfalls, before reaching the lake Mälaren and the magnificent castle Skokloster built in the 17th century. The chateau has a rich library of old books and a collection of weapons of the time.

7 km north on the E4 is Boviksbadet: a beach with a view of the surrounding islands. Easily accessible by car and has a campsite.

30 km north is Byske Havsbad: a long sandy beach with restaurants/cafes and public toilets. Very popular with the locals.

Mackmyra Svensk Whisky is a distillery located in Gävle. It offers guided tours of the Swedish whisky-making process. Visitors can learn about the different stages of production, from ingredient selection to distillation and aging. The tour lasts around two hours and also includes a tasting of some of the distillery's finest products. Visitor feedback was mixed. Some enjoyed the tour and found the guide knowledgeable and interesting. Others were disappointed by the lack of information in English and the service at the distillery restaurant. Some also noted that the gift store did not offer a wide variety of products.
