The rooms are nice and bright, with lots of wood. You can ask for one with a view of the flat rocks that slope gently down to the water. The staff is very friendly. The hotel can also be rented for wedding ceremonies.

Opened in 2000, the Plaza is a modern luxury hotel with 143 high-end rooms, so you'll be spoilt for choice. While everything is impeccable, the whole place is a bit cold and lacks soul, which is a bit disappointing. For example, the hotel's restaurant, the Swea Hof, is topped with a very high glass window and metal beams, making it look like a train station concourse. Still, the hotel has a few things going for it, such as an English pub, the Bishops Arms, with a more casual atmosphere, but also an exercise room and a sauna.
