The menu is original: sausage burger, fish, vegetarian or classic... If the wait can sometimes be long because the place isn't very big, once the burger is on your plate, you won't regret having waited a few minutes! As for the atmosphere, like most places in Oslo, it's relaxed. Good value for money.

Although the name of the restaurant does not sound very refined, don't be fooled: this highly gourmet restaurant promises you an unforgettable time with its delicious bacalaos and its breathtaking view of Ålesund. The restaurant has been named Europe's best bacalao restaurant several times! A true fusion cuisine between Portugal and Norway, the results are amazing. You should absolutely choose the tasting menu: the Royal bacalao plate. Otherwise, opt for the klippefisk or the fiskesuppe. Reservation required!

Located opposite the ferry terminal, Molo Brew is an address not to be missed! In this large, fully-glazed industrial building, there's something for everyone. Come for a quick bite before catching the next ferry, eat a (delicious!) burger if you're feeling a little (or a lot) hungry, or simply enjoy one of the 25 in-house beers, as Molo Brew is first and foremost a local brewery! Beer lovers are in for a treat: there's something for everyone! At the back of the room, a shuffleboard for players.

Svang opened in 2018 and is one of the best restaurants in town! Fish takes pride of place, especially those caught locally the day or the day before. Vegetables are also sourced from nearby farms wherever possible, and the restaurant is ethically conscious overall. The dishes are very well presented and the flavors blend particularly well. It also doubles as a wine bar. A great success!

This architectural feat designed by the Norwegian firm Snøhetta is absolutely unique! It is an underwater restaurant, the first in Europe. You can recognize it thanks to its head that emerges from the water. The atmosphere and the decor are futuristic, while remaining sober. Inside, the immersion five meters under the surface of the water is total. With a Michelin star, the chef Nicolai Ellitsgaard Pedersen serves fish and seafood with seaweed harvested under the restaurant. It is imperative to book several months in advance.

Located on a small island in front of the Bygdøy peninsula, this restaurant, which opened in 1929, offers a unique experience! In the heart of the fjord, taste the best of the sea's products and specialities in an idyllic setting. The boat ride to the restaurant is an integral part of the tour. Departure from Herbernveien every quarter of an hour. The food is good, from fish and chips to the fish of the day, vegetarian dishes and hamburgers. Children's menus are also available for NOK 135. The dessert of fresh berries with a vanilla ball is great!

An affordable burger in Oslo's most expensive neighbourhood! Sit outside the window and watch the city life on Majorstua's main street. Homemade burgers. The one with homemade truffle mayonnaise is very good, as is their veggie burger option which is very tasty and well spiced. Potato fries, but also sweet potato and parmesan fries, or even a mix. Most of the sauces are also homemade. Recommended if you have a sudden urge to eat something fast and fatty!

The fish market of the port offers you fresh products, cooked on the spot ! Choose from the à la carte dishes, a menu, or select your fish directly from the stall for a personalised dish! Fish soup, fish and chips with their own tempura batter, mussels in white wine, a selection of three types of fish with or without shellfish... in short, something for the eyes and the taste buds. The setting is friendly and the menu changes daily, so it's hard to get bored! Despite its slightly old-fashioned façade, make no mistake: the new owners are determined to offer their customers modern cuisine in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The emphasis is on fresh produce and generous dishes. The menu features Western cuisine, with suggestions for pizzas, burgers and finger foods, as well as grilled meats and shrimps. Cornelius Seafood Restaurant is a unique and popular culinary destination on the northwest coast of Bjoroy Island, with spectacular views of the fjord and islands near Bergen. Their Meteorological menus are inspired by the natural beauty of the surrounding fjords. Many raw-food proposals. The menus mostly include the boat trip there and back. Going to eat there is quite an experience, as you usually spend the whole day there. It is a way to discover the fjords in a different way, while enjoying yourself!

This charming little shop is also a restaurant serving cheese specialities. The setting is nice, the atmosphere is relaxed and warm, and the cuisine is typical of a French bistro (not necessarily very exotic): wooden furniture, checkered tablecloths, rustic decorations: everything is there! This little ginguette serves soups, sandwiches, good wine... And it is with difficulty that we will leave empty-handed because the gourmets will find a certain number of quality products there

And with good reason: next door to the Mathallen Food Hall, Døgnvill Bar & Burger serves some of the best burgers in the capital. Behind a heavy wooden door, welcome to one of the most authentic places in the capital. Every evening, the regulars gather in this rustic bar, drink beer and take turns singing a song, playing music or telling a story! The atmosphere is great and gives us the impression of a trip back in time. It is possible to eat here, as this bar offers the menu of the Asian restaurant next door, but also a selection of simple and well prepared snacks.

Engel Bay, with this restaurant on the quay, is a very popular destination for seafood excursions. For starters we can only recommend their fish soup, which is one of their specialities. That said, the langoustines accompanied by fennel salad compete well with it. For the main course, there is little choice but perfect: breaded trout with parmesan chips and vegetables, baked halibut with a vegetable and bacon purée or a meat dish. A children's menu that will satisfy many with its sausage and chips!

Want a good Burgr without pretension? This is the place. In this tiny restaurant, three large high tables, a terrace, and Mario. The hero of our favorite game seems to have been elected mascot of the place. The Beatles in the loudspeakers and on the walls, the famous Pac Man, Sonic or Zelda posters... But before we make burgers there, you should know that between these walls, at the time when Tromsø had only 80 inhabitants, was built the first bistro of the city. Where fishermen used to come to trade a fish for a glass or two of wine.
