This equestrian center boasts extraordinary panoramic views, particularly from its riding arena. Discover new sensations with the step paddle. No need for a paddle; the board is equipped with fixed handlebars. Discover the sea bed on board a new semi-rigid boat in small groups. The club offers double dives in the morning for experienced divers, baptisms for beginners or snorkeling for non divers. You can also discover turtles in the afternoon from 2 to 5 pm (usually Tuesday and Saturday) in high season.

The ONF has marked out nine hiking trails that allow you to discover the original beauty of the Vieux-Fort mangrove: the Ouliée flow. The details of the tracks and trails are available on the website of the tourist office. The equestrian brigade of the ONF patrols the state forests of the coast for prevention. The island being the first egg-laying site of the Lesser Antilles, the ONF is committed to the protection of marine turtles that come to lay eggs at night on the beaches. The approach is possible with a guide of the ONF (reservation required).

The Arawak Surf Club offers surfing lessons and courses for all ages and levels, whether you're a beginner, an amateur or an experienced surfer. Lessons take place in the company of Aaron or Niko, state-qualified instructors who will share their experience and passion with you during group lessons (private lessons for 1 to 3 people are available on request). Equipment is provided for beginners or travelers without boards. The school also offers lessons for children aged 4 and over.

A friendly team of qualified instructors run the center. Activities include two-seater sea kayaking, stand-up puddling, canoeing, wave skiing, river trekking... Take advantage of one of their guided outings to discover the lagoon and mangrove forest. Located in the heart of the seaside resort, the golf is designed by the famous American architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. Its 18-hole course, on 5 990 km², completely renovated in 2011, extends between coconut trees, sandy bunkers and artificial lakes. The ergonomics of the course is just as convenient for competition as for the tourist golf. The most pleasant slots remain mornings and late afternoon. The Poyo Surf Club is both a surf, stand-up paddle and bodyboard school and club in Guadeloupe, with a base in the town of Le Moule, another in the commune of Sainte-Anne and on the island of Marie-Galante. Surfing lessons are also available on the Helleux beach in Sainte-Anne. In addition to courses and workshops, the structure also offers equipment for hire. The marina is located in the heart of the town. It is distinguished by its modern infrastructure. It has been recently renovated and can accommodate up to 220 boats with 7 new floating pontoons, all equipped with water and electricity points. You can reach it by boat via the "passe champagne" when approaching from east to west.

Ideal to visit the island by sea, off the beaten track! You leave in a small group with an instructor to discover inaccessible places: the mangrove, the coral reef, the crystal clear lagoons and the paradise islets. Several formulas: initiation, 1h, 2h or half day trip with meal included... Discover also the flyboard to rise in the air above the water! Regy Balade offers full-day and half-day excursions. For a half-day, discover the mangrove swamps, sea grass beds and starfish. You will find different types of boats for rent. Several options are available; with skipper, with hostess, fishing equipment rental, kayak... (for an extra charge). You can settle on board your boat for the night (night on board not charged), but for the handover by the technical team, you will have to wait until the next morning from 7:30-8am. Located on the beach of Viard, this club is affiliated with the French Federation of Sailing and Canoeing. The CGRP (Comité de Randonnée Pédestre) values and promotes hiking through different actions. It organizes events, manages trail marking and coordinates the various initiatives. Its site lists the various outings proposed by the member associations and invites you to discover some of the island's high spots such as the Porte d'Enfer, Pointe Lézard, Bassin Bleu or Soufrière, with systematically some appropriate recommendations.

Joël, a fisherman from Désirade, offers unforgettable sea excursions. Outings take place aboard a 12-seater speedboat. Departing from Désirade or Saint-François, take a day trip to the Petite-Terre reserve, including lunch (chicken, fish or lobster on the beach). This easy seaside walk links the famous beaches of Helleux and Bois Jolan, 4.5 kilometers north of Sainte-Anne. The path winds its way between coastal landscapes, ponds and forests over a six-kilometre round trip, offering a glimpse of the island's widespread plant species: coconut palms, mangroves and black mapous. The mangrove also reveals its complex ecosystem, and the more discreet will be able to observe numerous birds. But the highlight is undoubtedly the shallow turquoise waters of Bois Jolan beach.

This easy 9 km walk links Anse à la Baie and Anse à l'Eau, in the north-east of the town of Saint-François. The start is at the parking lot of the first cove. From there, a path, first tarred then dirt, will lead you first to the chapel of Baie Olive, then to the second cove by following the coastline. At Anse à l'Eau, the trail makes a small loop, which is not mandatory, before turning back.

This 6,5 km coastal promenade will take you from the beach of the Saltworks to Pointe Carnot along the coast. Yet it is the green that dominates this hike through mangrove areas and meadows. An ornithological reserve can even observe birds in their natural environment. Let us also wait to see many cows in freedom who also seem to want to enjoy marine air. Finally, you will find the beach of Saint-Félix where you can rest before you arrive at Pointe Carnot.
