Timetable

The schedules correspond to those of France. Bars don't really start to come alive until around 10pm, especially at weekends. Happy hours formulas are generally offered from 6pm to 7pm.

Budget & Tips

Many bars and restaurants organize theme evenings from time to time (happy hour, karaoke...).

Some nightclubs offer admission to women on certain evenings, others offer preferential rates to those who arrive before 10 p.m. All these programs can be found on the establishments' Facebook pages

To be booked

When restaurants and bars are holding events, it is highly recommended to make reservations especially in high season, as the local population likes to party and some establishments are very popular.

Night transport

Buses don't run after 9:00. To get around, you can only rely on taxis, VTC or car rental.

What's very local

Guadeloupeans are always very well dressed when they go out. Women are always adorned with beautiful jewellery and tight-fitting outfits that enhance their shapes.

Tourist traps

As in metropolitan France, certain districts should be avoided in the evening to avoid any problems. Do not leave objects in evidence in your car in a parking lot when you go to the beach, to the restaurant..
