The Heritage Malta Association offers a discounted pass to visit the historical sites. This pass allows thirty days' access to Malta's sites and museums (except Hal Saflieni Hypogeum and Underground Valletta) as well as the Malta National Aquarium and the Citadel Visitors' Center in Victoria (on the island of Gozo), via a single visit to each site per person. It is without difficulty that you will find this tourist office of Mdina, installed since a few years in the very pretty museum of natural history, located on the right, once the main entrance of the city is passed. There you will find leaflets about the different activities offered and the places to visit. You will be given a map to guide you through the maze of streets and alleys. Also available to visitors are some emblematic Maltese handicrafts and postcards.

The Maltese lira has been replaced by the euro at a conversion rate of 1 EUR = MTL 0.429300. Maltese lira banknotes can be exchanged for ten years, and coins for two years after withdrawal of legal tender, at the counters of the Central Bank of Malta.
