On the co-cathedral side, the terraces are rare. That of Café Marquee is of course being stormed. In front of Saint John cathedral, the place is pleasant, located on one of the most beautiful squares in the city, and close to everything. The decor is cosy, but rather far from the Moroccan style, contrary to what the name of the bar suggests, if it is not a few poufs arranged by sea.

It is a very pleasant, relaxing place where you will come to take cocktails or smoke a supplied (beautiful variety of flavoured tobacco). During the weekend, more animated evenings are organized around 22-23 pm. The evening not to be missed really is that of Friday: you can see all the beautiful people of Malta.

On the promenade, this bar below, close to the water, has an outdoor dance trail where people of all ages, dance in group (country, rock), summer nights (weekends) for the delight of the hikers.

This isn't Paceville, and yet this kiosk-bar is open practically non-stop, early in the morning and late at night. Very well located, with an infinite view of the sea, this cocktail bar is very popular, as much for its drinks as for its food, especially its pasta dishes or octopus salad. A little noisy to hear each other talk. No more buttons on the tables to call the waiters, but the wait is bearable. And don't worry if you come to Malta in winter and it's chilly, the space is heated. Very good spot.

This Maltese casino is the attraction of the Portomaso marina tourist complex. It offers all the variety of games you'd expect: poker, of course, but also slot machines (the casino boasts the widest and most comprehensive range on the island), as well as a variety of table games. Poker games are particularly popular here, as the casino offers accessible tournaments every evening. And for a quick break before or after a game, the restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a good meal.

It was a simple little café that had the good idea of setting up on the town's main square and at the beginning of the little streets leading to Place Saint-Georges. As a result, everyone flocks here to sit inside or enjoy the covered terrace. You can enjoy a homemade cheesecake. Or opt for pastizzi and croque-monsieur, accompanied by a coffee or beer while watching the local entertainment. The downside is that in the heart of the tourist zone, prices are skyrocketing, as is coffee, which costs twice as much as elsewhere.

It's the Swiss Army knife of leisure and entertainment in Valletta. It boasts a six-screen cinema complex, spread over several floors and featuring the latest films, especially American productions. But you'll also find a bingo hall, a very popular activity in Malta, open 7 days a week. As well as restaurants, cafés and, of course, stores. And you can even watch a film on the history of Valletta, shown regularly. A good program, but a little expensive.

It's a beautiful beach club, naturally located with your feet in the sand, on the shore of Armier Bay. Here, you'll enjoy exceptional panoramic views of the islands of Comino and Gozo. If you go inside, you can opt for an excellent bar-restaurant. Those in a lazy mood will prefer the deckchairs. For the more sporty, there's a diving school. Last but not least, there's an event space for festivals, weddings, concerts and corporate events.
