SPAZIO ARTE
Read moreThis art gallery is actually opened by the neighboring town of Forio, with the aim of making known Villa Visconti. So we admire a painting of the director, the eye in the viewfinder. The quality of the chosen artists makes this gallery a mandatory detour for all art lovers. Held by Lina Vicario, a kind local who spent more than twenty years in France. Moreover, the French tourists who go to this place leave only long after: coffee, chat and coffee, time passes fast with Lina.
BAC ART STUDIO / GALLERY
Read moreLac Art Studio is an art gallery specialized in the sale of colours and fortes. These engravings represent, in general, Venice's views. The most famous graveur in Venice is Cadore. Its engravings are now an integral part of local heritage. Since 1977, this artist has been looking at the city and communicating it through the acid, the metal plate and the colour of the aquatint. Surprising clear-obscure, light, transparency… he has been able with genius to recreate the Venetian soul, light, atmosphere and atmosphere. At Lac Art you will find these small works of art at relatively affordable prices (around 100 € for an engraving of 30 cm per 50 cm). You can also choose very beautiful postcards from the works of the same artist. It will change some of the usual postcards (yet deliciously kitsch, we must admit). However, the engravings do not have the monopoly of exposure and sale at the gallery of the Bac Art Studio. It also contains work of other types: paintings, photos, photos developed on paper, sculptures… Venice does not have a monopoly of subjects… The staff is not often friendly, but when you are under the charm of a work of art, you adapt it. The vast collection of impressions is therefore worth a small visit, especially if you go to the Guggenheim Museum: The gallery is on the right side of the road leading to this temple of modern art.

GALLERIA HENRY
Read moreSymbol of the mining epic of Bruggerru, the Henry Gallery was dug into the rock in 1865. It was used to transport minerals in steam locomotives from the excavation sites to the washing stations. Large openings allowing natural light to enter had been dug and create spectacular viewpoints.
