Collection of paintings including Italian works of the Romantic period.

This collection of paintings includes Italian works from Romanticism to the twentieth century, including a Portrait of Chopin by Francesco Hayez, landscapes by Antonio Fontanesi, works by Macchiaioli painters and Carlo Carrà. The gallery has a Portrait of a Lady by Gustav Klimt which had disappeared in 1997; it was unexpectedly found on December 10, 2019 during handling work... behind a double wall of the gallery!
