The beautiful Lago Verde, with its intense emerald green waters thanks to the presence of a particular algae, allows you to go for a nice walk in a kind of small paradise, which can also be done from the Narrow Valley. Follow the path that starts from the refuge, then turn right (the lake is perfectly indicated). From the refuge, there is less than 100 metres of difference in altitude. The return journey is the same way. It takes about three hours to walk at the foot of the Three Wise Men.

The guide office offers excursions on specific dates in summer: hiking, canyoning, via ferrata, climbing, week-long ascents of the Cervino, the Écrins massif or Monte Bianco (4,810 m), and courses for all ages. The course of this 9-hole golf course in the middle of the mountains was designed in the 1930s by the English architect Peter Gannon and redesigned ten years later by the great champion Henry Cotton. Adjacent to the sanctuary of Oropa, in the heart of the Sacro Monte nature reserve, the Oropa Sport area is a reference point for all mountain enthusiasts, both in winter and summer. The ski lifts connect Oropa to a popular ski area, while in summer the whole area becomes the kingdom of hikers and mountain bikers, among others. An adventure park has even recently opened to satisfy even the most avid tree climbers. It is a real paradise for the little mountain people and their guides.

Punta Trettu, although still little known, is one of the best kitesurfing spots in Sardinia. The wind rushes over this calm stretch of water framed by Sardinia on one side and the island of Sant'Antioco on the other. These elements make Punta Trettu the ideal place to start kitesurfing. In this lost paradise, three passionate friends have created a nice village where you can learn the basics of kitesurfing or perfect your style. Designed as a campsite, it is possible to pitch your tent or camper. Many services are available.

This area, enclosed between Monte Civetta and Monte Pelmo (3,168 metres), includes the resorts of Alleghe (at the foot of the majestic lake of the same name), connected to Palafavera, where the famous piste 2000 is located, which in turn is connected to the Val di Zoldo and Selva di Cadore (in the forest). The only Via Ferrata in southern Italy passes through Castelmezzano (length: 1,731 metres and height difference: 249 metres). Its level of difficulty does not require a guide. You can rent the complete equipment (helmet, harness, etc.) from the ticket offices of the Angel's Flight in Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa (booking possible online). A beautiful experience that allows you to discover the Lucanian dolomites and reach otherwise inaccessible viewpoints.

Baveno-Oltrefiume-Feriolo-Torre. 2h15 return. From the Villa Fedora park, turn left towards Oltrefiume. Continue along Via Lavarini and the Strada Cavalli which joins the main road. Then turn left and take the path that leads to the tower with picnic area.

Baveno-Roncaro-Campio-Campino-Alpinia-Mottarone. 2h15 on the way out and 1h25 on the way back. From the lake shore in Baveno, climb to Roncaro and Campino. The route, with views of Lake Maggiore, leads to the summit of Mottarone.

This 50-meter long, 25-meter wide and up to 6-meter deep open-air pool hosted the 2019 Summer Universiade diving competitions. The whole complex is very clean and well kept. It also has a large solarium and a bar-restaurant, as well as an indoor pool, the Piscina Ettore D'Elia, which is 25 metres long. A good plan for those who prefer sporty swimming to playful swimming along the coast.

Located in the Fuorigrotta district, the Arena was built between 1938 and 1940 for the Mostra d'Oltremare, a universal exhibition to celebrate the colonial expansion of fascist Italy.
