One of the main shipping companies for the transport of passengers and vehicles between Tuscany and Elba, more precisely between Piombino and Portoferraio. The advantage of the lakes is that you can get around quickly! An efficient and picturesque ferry service that allows you to reach Monte Isola and all the towns on the lake. The cruise (about 2 hours) goes all around: departure from Iseo, Lovere, Sarnico, Sultano, Sale Maresino, Marone. There are also night cruises with fireworks on New Year's Eve and August 15. This is an opportunity to visit the lake in a different way and to have a different view of the villages. Take the opportunity to admire the few gardens that overlook the lake!

When you arrive by train in Santa Lucia, you will suddenly experience an absolute sensation of disorientation. Venice simply jumps out at you! The view of the Grand Canal is superb. Vaporetti 1, 2, 4.1 and 5.1 dock 20 meters away to take you to Rialto or Piazza San Marco, among others. The Santa Croce and Cannareggio neighborhoods are available to you if you prefer to walk. But take your time if you need to. There are many restaurants and stores, as well as tourist information desks in the main hall.

GTT manages the public transport network in Turin and 25 other municipalities, with some 100 lines divided between bus, streetcar and subway. As a tourist, it's easier to use the single metro line and the streetcar lines, which are easier to read than the bus. The tourist center is largely criss-crossed by these two networks, and the tramway is very pleasant, especially the older trains. Located on the Via Roma axis, a strategic point of the city, it is the main railway station of Turin and the third largest railway station in Italy. Ryanair offers flights from Marseille to Cagliari and Paris and Beauvais to Alghero and Cagliari.

Sassari: a dozen buses a day from 6:45 a. m. (from Alghero via Catalogna) at 8 p. m. Departures from Sassari from 7 a. m. 1 hour drive. Attention: On Sunday, there are far fewer departures.

Capo Caccia and Neptune Cave: about 4 departures/day in each direction around. Travel of about 50 minutes.

Nuraghe Palmavera: line Alghero-Porto Conte (judgment Bivio Bombarde, continue on foot). Some departures/day. Count 1 hour drive. In the high season the Alghero-Capo Caccia line of 9:15 a. m. marks the stop at the Nuraghe.

Estate Sella & Mosca and Necropoli Anghelu Ruju: line Alghero-San Marco.

Sassari: a dozen trains a day. Duration: about 45 minutes. 20 €.

It is the most important airport in Tuscany. Flights to all major airports in the country and Europe. The low-cost companies Easyjet and Ryanair have chosen Pisa over Florence.

Pisa Mover: automatic shuttle bus between Pisa airport and Pisa Centrale train station, 5 minutes ride.Departure every 5-10 minutes between 6am and midnight.

Car rental: a free shuttle bus runs between the terminal and the parking lots of the various car rental companies.

This airport, located 5 km from Bergamo and 45 km from Milan, has been chosen as a place of arrival and departure by some low cost airlines.

Orio Shuttle - Airpullman. Shuttle service between Milan Central Station and the airport. Departure from the bus parking lot on the right side of Piazza Luigi di Savoia station. From 4 am to 11.30 pm, 60 minute ride. One way €5; Return €10.

Terravision: regular bus connection between the airport and Milan Central Station, one way €5; return €9.

The station is very busy, even crowded in high season, with tourists and vacationers... Here you'll find the official Cinque Terre National Park office, as well as a café-bar, fast-food outlets and tobacconist. Numerous daily connections to all towns served by the La Spezia - Sestri Levante line. Daily direct trains to Genoa and Milan are plentiful, as are those to Rome, Parma and Florence. The Bergamo public transport company manages the network of urban lines, useful especially for getting around the lower city. Line n° 1 connects the centre to the railway station and the airport (every 20 minutes).

Funicular railway. The ATB also manages the two funiculars that connect the lower town to the upper town. The first runs from Viale Vittorio Emanuele II, the second joins the San Vigilio hill to the south of the city. Installed in 1887, it is the first one that you can take alternatively by bus to reach the historic heart of the city.

The shipping company provides most of the tourist transport from La Spezia. Lines serve the villages of Portovenere, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso, for the Cinque Terre, and Lerici and the island of Palmaria for the Golfo dei Poeti. There are several ways to reach the city center from the airport.

ATVO bus no. 35 (Express line). Every 30 minutes from 6am to 0.20am. 10 €, 18 € A/R.

ACTV buses no. 15 and 45 for the center and Mestre station.

ACTV bus no. 5 Aerobus. Every 30 minutes from 4.10am to 1.10am. 10 €, 18 € A/R.

Vaporetto Alilaguna. Go to the pier 10 minutes' walk from the airport (covered transfer area). 15 €, 27 € return to Lido or Venice. One or two departures per hour, from approx. 6 a.m. to midnight.

Water cab to San Marco for 1 to 6 people. 110/130 € approx.

Pisa's main train station serves most major Tuscan towns (Grosseto, Lucca, Livorno, Volterra, Cecina...) and Italian cities (Turin, Milan, Rome...). Trains leave every 30 minutes for Florence Santa Maria Novella (an hour and a half journey). The main bus stops are in the square opposite the station.

If you're travelling by car,near the station, you can leave your vehicle in the pay parking lot in piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (€4/hour, sometimes with special offers in summer).

The Alilaguna company provides a connection between Marco Polo airport and Venice. Count on average 1h to 1h15 to reach the stops served in the lagoon and on the Grand Canal. It's quite long but much more pleasant than the bus ride... You will see the city opening up little by little before your eyes, right on the water... a great show! Five lines in total, the blue one (Airport, Murano, Lido, San Marco), the orange one (Airport, Guglie, Rialto, San Maria del Giglio) and the red one (Certosa, Lido, San Marco and Cruise Terminal) embody this network.
