One of the main shipping companies for the transport of passengers and vehicles between Tuscany and Elba, more precisely between Piombino and Portoferraio. The trips last 1 hour and are numerous during the day with two ships providing the connections to avoid unnecessary waiting. It is possible to reach the upper deck by car and to make the crossing in your own vehicle, an important asset. It is highly recommended to buy tickets on the website, to benefit from promotions and to avoid waiting in line.

On 10/08/2017 we purchased two return trips to Santa Teresa from the office of Bonifacio, to 10:30 a. m., return to 5 p. m. The journey took place at the agreed time, however, due to weather conditions, the return was only 12/08/2017 around 12:00, 43 hours later than expected. Because of this delay I had to face 800 € of unforeseen expenses (2 nights of hotel, purchase of a new Corse-Paris plane ticket,…). How can return tickets be sold with a few hours of intervals without informing users of possible cancelation of return given weather conditions that were already not favorable to go as evidenced by the surveys of Cap Pertusato weather station of this day? Communication during the 2 days of waiting was deplorable. We were forced to go to the Santa Teresa office every 2 hours to try to get information. Blu Navy didn't even bother to answer the mail I sent them on August 27, 2017. What a lack of professionalism and contempt for the client!!! P. Aniorté
