At an altitude of 2,400 m, the highest motor racing circuit in the world is located. Its geographical location allows for excellent snow/ice conditions in winter and ideal heat conditions in summer. The circuit offers a wide range of activities throughout the year: in the summer, young and old alike can hire go-karts and motorbikes, as well as try their hand at driving (or co-driving) competition cars; in the winter, they can learn to drive on ice. If you're in the mood for dynamic sports and a lively nightlife, the El Tarter area is the place to stay. Grandvalira (Pas de la Case sector) is the liveliest and most popular with the French, given its proximity to France of course. Grandvalira (Grau Roig sector) is a ski resort, not a town. The Soldeu sector is suitable for skiers of all levels, and the wide slopes are a big part of this. From the Encamp area, access to the Grandvalira ski area is via the high-tech Funicamp cable car: in 15 minutes, skiers can travel 6 km to the Solanelles ski area. This little trip in a funitunel is an experience in itself that is worth doing! Here, we are about 7 kilometers from the Andorran capital, so it is the closest access to Grandvalira to Andorra la Vella.
