If you're in the mood for dynamic sports and a lively nightlife, the El Tarter area is the place to stay. During the day, enthusiasts can take advantage of the snowpark (rather high level), which concentrates the most important freestyle activity in Southern Europe, in an extreme sports atmosphere. There's also ratrac skiing, off-piste skiing and dog sledding. The small town of El Tarter is very pleasant and rather pretty. There are a few good restaurants and relaxed bars where it's easy to meet people.

L'école de ski pour les enfants est très efficace, les nôtres ont bien progressé. On a trouvé un grand appartement pour 6 pour la moitié du prix demandé en France; un supermarché, des restaurants.... un bon souvenir de notre semaine et on s'est promis de venir tester la station en été.
