This estate is run by a Frenchman, Guillaume Leroux, who has a degree in viticulture and oenology from Montpellier. This passion was passed on to him by his father, and he perfected his knowledge in the Douro region. He began his project at Monte da Casteleja in 1998, a traditional 7-hectare farm inherited from his grandfather. 3 hectares are planted with vines, using only local Portuguese grape varieties. Production is certified organic. Accommodation is available in one of the four bedrooms and the themed apartment.

Formerly known as Quinta do Morgado da Torre, this winery is one of the most dynamic in the region and, with a production of 100,000 bottles per year, is beginning to earn its stripes. With more than 80 hectares, this vineyard, which is very concerned with sustainability, produces white, red and rosé wines that are becoming more and more attractive. This does not prevent the Guedes family from also devoting themselves to wine tourism.
