Our favorite flavors are doce de leite and pistachio. There are also waffles and crêpes if you're not tempted by an ice cream.

Read moreThe legendary Cascais ice cream parlour, founded in 1949, with factories in São João do Estoril and Carcavelos (more recent), the regular supplier to the crowned heads, moved to the heart of the city in 2010. Facing the Armazéns in Chiado (shopping center), the setting is like something out of a scene from the movie Clockwork Orange or the TV series The Prisoner. It offers you its tasty seasonal flavors, among them: currant(groselha) or green corn(milho verde) but also more classic flavors for those who are not reckless.
