This nice 5 kilometers loop connects the villages of Alamo, Guerreiros do Rio and Laranjeiras. The path gently rises to offer views of the Guadiana River and the hinterland. The walk can be combined with a visit to the Museum of the River and a lunch break in the brewery of Laranjeiras. It is also an opportunity to visit the ruins of Montinho das Laranjeiras. The site reveals several successive occupations of Romans and Visigoths and even some Islamic buyuts have been found.

This is a 9.3 km bicycle or pedestrian path stretching from Amarante to Chapa. This section is part of the "Linha do Tâmaga" ecotour, which follows an old railway line, now out of service. Ideal for families to discover the banks of the Tâmega River. This ecotour offers beautiful views. There are benches all along the route for resting. There are also rubbish bins and fairly constant lighting when it is dark. The section of Amarante was built in 2010, there is even an extension of 12 km for the bravest.
