SANTA CRUZ DISTRICT
Read moreThe quintessence of the image of Seville, the Judería, the old Jewish quarter, very limited in comparison to what it was originally, offers itself as a labyrinth of streets and squares where the traveller can satisfy his curiosity in a playful manner. Beautiful white houses with wrought iron doors and facades adorned with geraniums and small squares covered with orange trees which fill in the spring… There is no route to advise, but places that deserve a dangerous quest. Here are some: Plaza Doña-Elvira, Santa-Maria-la-blanca, Hospital de los Venerables or Museo-Casa Murillo.
REIAL PLACE
Read moreThis elegant neoclassical square is one of the most popular in Barcelona. Formerly the property of the Capuchins, it was designed by the architect Francesc Molina between 1848 and 1860. Framed by arcades and adorned with palm trees, the square is lit by modernist street lamps by Gaudí, while the Three Graces fountain, from 1876, embellishes the central part. The luxurious atmosphere it once had is now tinged with a bohemian touch that encourages relaxation. In the evening, its many bars and restaurants are fully booked.
LA GRAN VÍA
Read moreThe idea of the "great route", almost 2 km long, arises from the need to link Cibeles Square to that of Spain. We had to demolish a whole neighbourhood for the drill. The work in three times printed their seal to architecture: between 1917 and 1910, between Alcalá Street and Telefónica's building, buildings imitate Paris buildings from the late th century; from 1922 to 1925 until Callao was the outbreak of the first skyscraper in Madrid: from 1925 onwards, the extension to Spanish square.
RAMBLA DE CATALUNYA

The avenue is dotted with modernist buildings: note for example Casa Serra by Josep Puig i Cadafalch at number 126, or Bolós pharmacy at number 77 and its beautiful façade decorated with stained glass windows.

It is in this neighbourhood that the parties of Gràcia are flames the streets, every year in August: among the most popular.

PUERTO DE LAS NIEVES
Read moreThe Puerto de Las Nieves is home to the Ermita de Las Nieves, a small chapel built in the early 16th century by Anton Cerezo - an Italian who had obtained land in Agaete in the distribution that took place after the conquest. During the month of August, you can admire the 16th century triptych that its founder brought from Flanders. The rest of the year, it is kept in the church of Agaete. From the original chapel, only the sanctuary and the coffered ceiling remain. You can also enjoy, not far from the pier, the pretty white houses with blue shutters that have kept all their authenticity. Puerto de Las Nieves also has two small beaches that are perfect for refreshing themselves.
