This unmissable Sunday flea market is a Madrid institution.

In addition to the items on offer, this flea market is also an event, a way to feel and experience Madrid's popular atmosphere. Calle San Cayetano is known as the street of painters, where you can buy numerous paintings, visit galleries and, above all, find frames. Calle San Ceferino is the street of birds. After the market, it's customary for Madrilenians to enjoy a drink in one of the many bars open for the occasion. Beware: this market is crowded and pickpockets are plentiful.

Evidemment il faut aimer la foule, les touristes et les marchés mais c'est une institution madrilène des dimanches. Outre le marché aux puces, ne pas négliger de visiter le quartier qui mérite lui aussi que l'on s'y attarde
