An independent record shop in the Kallio district since 1989, Stupido Market is much more than just a place to buy records. Here, you'll find an impressive collection of vinyl records (33 and 45 rpm, new and used, Nordic and international, of all musical genres), as well as clothes, books and jewelry, all from local artists who are, to say the least, crazy! You're never quite sure what you've come for at Stupido Market, but it's hard to leave empty-handed!

Located in the beautiful resort of Kenkävero, this is a lovely jewellery and home decor shop. Inside, everything is nicely stocked in a modern atmosphere. Cheap gift ideas: jewellery, including beautiful earrings and pendants, designer candle holders, some beautiful tableware... The best part: you can also participate in creative workshops where Pauliina explains how to create a unique piece of jewellery!

A large handicraft shop where you can find cuddly toys, decoration, design objects, ready-to-wear, but also, more unusual, an impressive collection of painted roosters (719 pieces in all!). The best part: everything is exclusively made in Finland. But that's not all, nearby, you can find a pleasant café-restaurant, a delicious (!) pastry shop, a "summer shop" open from June to August which honours local artists and craftsmen, as well as a large garden which, in spring and summer, is full of flowers.

The history of this knife factory is an integral part of the history of the town. The old factory was built during the Winter War in 1940. And its total destruction by the Germans was avoided thanks to a young man who was able to thwart the attack after hiding in an oven. Unfortunately, you won't find here any details about this story, but you will find here a shop displaying knives famous beyond the country. They are sold at lower prices than those available in the country's shops and you can ask for a personalized engraving.

Just a stone's throw from the Place du Marché, this is the one-stop store for everything to do with photography, both digital and film! In fact, JAS stands out from its competitors with an incredible stock of cameras from all eras and all brands. Alongside what's practically a museum, there's a huge assortment of used parts, from lens covers to batteries and lenses. You'll also find much more recent models, film and a repair service. In short, this is a must-see address!

Here's a junk with looks and soul! Armed with a cup of coffee, you can stroll through the museum, as if to go back in time, in search of the hidden treasure among a good selection of vintage clothes, furniture, design objects and soul and jazzy music. While you can find beautiful pieces such as cabinets, desks, and so on, you can also find smaller decorative accessories such as lamps, posters, etc... Online shop. On the second floor of the Forum shopping center, you'll find this boutique to delight Moumines fans! On the menu: tableware, accessories, toys, clothes and even sweets in the Moumines colors. It's a great gift idea for young - and even older - fans of the tender characters created by Tove Jansson. There's also another outdoor boutique, not far from the Chapel of Silence. Aarikka's story began with buttons. More than sixty years ago, Kaija Aarikka was looking for buttons to go with the dress she designed, but finding nothing she liked, she decided to make them herself. Then she creates jewellery made of wood beads and coloured, fresh and natural decorative objects with floral motifs, before working with silver. Very nice Christmas decorations inspired by Finnish tradition, but with a modern touch. Online shop, colorful and original jewelry, good value for money.

One of the largest shopping malls in the Nordic countries, it's a shopper's paradise with over 150 boutiques and restaurants. The advantage here is that, as well as finding absolutely everything, you'll also find affordable brands such as Zara. You can combine shopping with coffee breaks, for example at the famous Fazer Café or Hemingway's Bar, and why not even indulge in a movie? The only drawback is that we're a little far from the center. Ideal if you're staying outside Helsinki.

Rauma is famous for its laces. In Pits Priia, we discover the history of lace but also of bobbin winding, mentioned since 1740 in the town of Rauma. Here, the first lace makers were men, as the know-how was imported by the town's sailors. One of the best shops in this field is certainly the Pits-Priia, specialized in the manufacture of Rauma lace, where you can still see the lacemakers at work. Located just a few minutes from Helsinki Central Station, the Kahru concept store is THE place to find the latest iconic models from the Karhu brand, founded in 1916 and whose emblem is, appropriately enough, a bear (because Karhu means bear in Finnish).
