The history of this knife factory is an integral part of the history of the town. The old factory was built during the Winter War in 1940. And its total destruction by the Germans was avoided thanks to a young man who was able to thwart the attack after hiding in an oven. Unfortunately, you won't find here any details about this story, but you will find here a shop displaying knives famous beyond the country. They are sold at lower prices than those available in the country's shops and you can ask for a personalized engraving.
