The establishment has remained true to its roots: simple and local. The welcome is friendly and the plates are copious. Service is fast and efficient. And prices are very reasonable, so there's no reason to miss out! Reservations are almost essential.

It's fair to say that this is an exceptional restaurant for meat, most of which is sourced in the Azores. You can choose from beef, duck, pork or lamb... and sometimes even game! The side dishes are equally well prepared: truffle purée, home fries, grilled vegetables... Desserts are homemade and the wine list is exhaustive (as is the wall adorned with bottles!). The waiters wear beautiful aprons and offer excellent advice. The dining room was refurbished in early 2024. A superb address.

For fish lovers, there are also some à la carte. The restaurant's dishes are honest and the prices are relatively low. The shares are always generous and the products are of high quality. The room is rather modern and the waiters and waitresses are very pleasant. The choice of wines is also impeccable, as are the desserts. From the beginning to the end of the meal you should be satisfied!

An excellent restaurant in the center of Praia da Vitória. In the dining room, the Swiss owner is multilingual, and welcomes you in Portuguese as well as English, German and French. In the kitchen, his wife prepares delicious dishes using fresh local produce. The meats are very tender and absolutely delicious, at unbeatable prices. Special attention is also paid to vegetarian dishes and side dishes. Make a reservation if you're just passing through Praia, as the room is very small and the place is a victim of its own success!
