A CASA DO ABEL

It's fair to say that this is an exceptional restaurant for meat, most of which is sourced in the Azores. You can choose from beef, duck, pork or lamb... and sometimes even game! The side dishes are equally well prepared: truffle purée, home fries, grilled vegetables... Desserts are homemade and the wine list is exhaustive (as is the wall adorned with bottles!). The waiters wear beautiful aprons and offer excellent advice. The dining room was refurbished in early 2024. A superb address.
