Wink Jewellery, or Wink at One, is surely the most interesting jewelry store in the capital of the island of Guernsey. Between the many pieces of jewelry on display (rings, wedding rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants...) and the work to be done by the very talented and friendly Karl, the owner, you should have plenty of choice if you want to surprise your other half. In addition to the tax-free prices, there are also regular promotions (to be found on the Facebook page of the establishment).

Here you will find the largest display of pearl jewelry in the Channel Islands, no less. The pieces are created one by one by the craftsmen of the workshop. There is also a small café, very practical to warm up in winter or to enjoy the terrace in summer. In short, a nice place to take a break and admire the work of the artisans and why not to fall for one of the many unique creations. You are warned! Catherine Best, a world-renowned jewelry artist, has long been based in Guernsey. She also has another workshop-boutique-restaurant here in Jersey. And not just anywhere, in a beautifully renovated country mill, a historical monument dating back to 1837. You can see her creations and if you feel like it (take advantage of the fact that the island is tax-free), you can order a custom-made piece of jewelry. It is (very) expensive but unique. Otherwise, you can just stop by for the pleasure of your eyes.

This store and workshop will delight lovers of synthetic or cultured pearls, who will see a life-size copy of the largest natural pearl in the world. Apart from lovers of this craft, lovers of souvenirs of all kinds should also find their happiness here. And for those who are walking in the area, the café and tea room (which also offers good food) offers a room and a very nice terrace with a superb view on Fort Grey. A small fresh break in summer.

Bruce represents the fourth generation of Russell's, renowned island silversmiths from father to son. He has worked for the British Royal Family. Excuse the pun! In addition to the silversmiths at work in a 16th century farmhouse, you can admire the chiseled gold and silver objects, the famous milk jugs and the Guernsey christening cup. Bruce's store is located in a beautiful garden with beautiful streams. Hours are a bit variable.

Catherine Best, who also has a boutique in London's Mayfair district, is an internationally renowned goldsmith, often awarded for her meticulous and precious work. And it's a family affair as Catherine's daughters are the third generation to perpetuate the family talent. A visit to the workshop is therefore an opportunity to treat yourself to a unique piece. Jewelry of course, but also charming little sculptures. And from the workshop, in the middle of the jewels, you will have a beautiful view on the capital Saint-Peter-Port.

Martyn Guille is a magnificent factory of jewelry and silver objects. Objects that can also be engraved and personalized. Here, you will have the unique opportunity to discover the work of the last silversmith of Guernsey. A remarkable work that was even admired by Queen Elizabeth II herself and the Duke of Edinburgh during their visit in 1989. The stores and workshops cover more than 500 m².
