Catherine Best, a world-renowned jewelry artist, has long been based in Guernsey. She also has another workshop-boutique-restaurant here in Jersey. And not just anywhere, in a beautifully renovated country mill, a historical monument dating back to 1837. You can see her creations and if you feel like it (take advantage of the fact that the island is tax-free), you can order a custom-made piece of jewelry. It is (very) expensive but unique. Otherwise, you can just stop by for the pleasure of your eyes.
