Contemporary and warm, extended by tree-shaded terraces, this is THE restaurant of the Château de Labourdonnais, one of the best in the North, whose dishes are as tasty as the setting is beautiful. We love the cuisine of Italian chef Fabio, who skilfully revisits old-fashioned recipes and products in a creative, gastro style: lobster deglazed with vanilla and flambéed with rum, 7-hour lamb with arouille purée, ravioli stuffed with tomato chutney... At lunchtime, a menu of typical Mauritian dishes cooked over a wood fire.

Located under the varangue and the glass gallery of the magnificent colonial house, away from the noise and pollution of the city center, it is the most authentic, elegant and flowery setting of this part of the island. On the terrace with a view of the park, or in the house amidst the antique furniture, you can enjoy a fusion cuisine that combines French know-how with the many local flavors. The Constance Belle Mare Plage gourmet restaurant, with its exceptional cellar of 30,000 bottles from over 2,500 vineyards around the world, sublimates the adage, and offers guests the chance to create a 3-course menu based on the wines chosen (not the other way around). The Autour du vin concept begins with the in-house sommeliers, and continues with a gourmet dinner in the elegant, warm, cellar-like dining room. A moment of grace.

It's the trendy bistro of the plateau cities: a bargain-hunter's bar made of recycled objects found in attics and flea markets, an informal New Age bar atmosphere, the friendly atmosphere of a grandmother's house where you can come and eat simple, fresh dishes: tapas, mixed salads, burgers, melting lamb, home fries, French toast... The drinks menu is displayed on the screen of an old TV, a bicycle is waiting in the entrance, plants are slumbering in crates... We grab the press and settle in.

This unique restaurant is housed in the superbly restored ruins of a former powder mill built in 1743 by the French. In an industrial chic setting overlooking parkland and other relics, it offers a varied French-inspired bistro-style menu, specializing in premium beef steaks with a choice of sauces and accompaniments. Not to be missed at weekends: The Distillery (superb adjoining rum bar) and Nest, a rooftop bar overlooking the ruins and a magnificent banyan grove.
