In the heart of El Nido, here is a restaurant that offers a simple and quality cuisine with French influences. Ideally installed on a large terrace overlooking the small beach of El Nido, it is located in front of the magnificent Bacuit Bay. You can sip beers, wine or water while waiting for your dish after having consulted the slate to know the arrivals of the day and especially the chef's suggestions! We love the friendly atmosphere and the attentive eye of the staff. The place can be a victim of its success: in high season, think of booking.

The Curious Café is the address that was missing in Manila (we seem). You can also enjoy a wide range of tartars steaks or large, elegant beef ribs, all at affordable prices. An addition to the island's gastronomic scene that's been somewhat lacking: a restaurant with a "healthy" niche! In a trendy setting with white flagstones, a plant wall and bulbs with visible filaments, we're delighted to enjoy healthy, local food (the owners work with local farmers) and, as often as possible, organic, but above all, exquisite and full of flavour. On the menu: salads, buddha bowls, curries, fresh juices... and an all-day brunch. A delightful address from which to emerge full of vitality.

Zoe's Kitchen is ideally located on the famous Boulevard. This restaurant, which was recommended to us by locals (we would probably not have turned over in front of it otherwise), serves a rather international kitchen a little revisited with the Filipino sauce as for the sisig pasta. We find a little of everything: meats, fish, burgers, pizzas (rather good), pastas, Mexican quesadillas, etc. The restaurant has a terrace on the second floor from which you have a nice view on the waterfront: go there at noon or at the end of the day to enjoy it.

Would you like to sample some of the great classics of Philippine gastronomy? Then this is the place to come, with your eyes closed! Dishes are served in the traditional way, on banana leaves or in still-boiling terracotta pots. And what dishes they are! Pochero, the famous lechon de leche (grilled pig), coconut crab and crispy pig's head (!), beautifully presented in a relaxed atmosphere... Korea Garden is above all a family story. The story of Kim Chung Ae, who when she fell in love with a Filipino soldier in 1952, left her country to come and settle in Manila. Established in 1994, it has made a name for itself in Moalboal and is particularly popular for its gourmet breakfasts (pancakes, omelettes, muesli, fresh fruit salad...) and its well-stocked wood-fired pizzas. A chain that offers cooked chicken in all its forms and traditional Filipino. An institution.

It's a no-frills, open-air complex of a dozen restaurants all preparing pretty much the same thing, namely grilled chicken. If you want to try the local specialty,inasal (chicken marinated with vinegar, soy sauce and ginger and grilled on the barbecue), this is definitely the place to come. For the more adventurous, you can also try the liver, intestine and heart of chicken... Don't be surprised, there is no cutlery distributed here to encourage eating the Kamayan way.

It is the largest Chinese restaurant in Manila. The restaurant is specialised in seafood and is served in this environnement environment.

Ideally placed on the harbour, this hotel is especially suitable for good cuisine and for its superb surroundings.

In a rather exceptional setting since the restaurant is in the open air, on stilts, on the edge of the bay of Manila, one can taste fish specialities and Filipino dishes. To try: fried shrimps(nilasing na hipon), pork knuckles(crispy pata) or sizzling Gyudon (minced beef in sauce). You can also choose your own fish or crab and cook it as you like. The prices are a bit high for a quality and a service not incredible but the place makes up for it, especially at sunset.

Established in Boracay since 1983, this juice bar-restaurant is an institution on the island. In a colorful and friendly atmosphere, it offers, as its name suggests, a variety of absolutely delicious shakes: banana-chocolate-vanilla, mango-melon or pineapple-rum... What's more, they use edible straws! A number of dishes and snacks are also on the menu. And to satisfy everyone's cravings, Jonah's delivers its milkshakes all over Boracay. This little address is very popular, as it's undoubtedly the best shakes on the island!

Good Japanese restaurant in a large, informal room. 

A renowned restaurant that serves Filipino and Spanish cuisine with international influences, often good, sometimes uneven: venison with vinegar and soy sauce (Adobadong Usa), goat stew (Kalderetang Kambing) and they are especially known for their paella. We dine in the heart of Intramuros, in a colorful decoration that recalls the colonial era (old house of the ^19th century restored). Adjacent, a café and a theater. Special menus are offered for occasions such as Father's Day or Valentine's Day.

The restaurant serves Italian specialities. Pizzas and pasta are very good and each dish is designed to be shared by two people.

Located on a hill, Paradiso Restaurant offers a superb 180-degree view of White Island's famous sandbar. It's awe-inspiring! The spot is already an excellent place to watch the sunset, and with a mango milkshake in hand or a cocktail, it's even better. As for the food, the Italian owner offers the great transalpine classics: wood-fired pizzas and pasta. The pizzas are really excellent!

Italian specialities are served in a charming setting. The service, like the kitchen, is very good.

Granted, it doesn't look like much, yet this simple, popular roadside restaurant serves an acclaimed local specialty: tuna kinilaw, a kind of raw fish or, more nicely, ceviche (tuna marinated in a sauce of vinegar, ginger, radish and onions). Cheap and delicious! Try bagaybay (fish gonads) too. For meat lovers, we serve a very good braised chicken. Don't be surprised, there's no menu: you order directly from the waiter, who will tell you what's available!

It is certainly the most animated place in El Nido, on the water side (some tables on the beach). You can eat all sorts of things (including grilled fish). The atmosphere is pleasant, with concerts almost every evening.

Marlyn, the owner, brings the coffee beans from Bukidnon. The restaurant is well decorated and there is a small collection of books (gifts are welcome) that can be consulted while enjoying a cereals or a calamansi juice. The owner has long worked as a guide in caves. She is very kind and a source of endless information about Camiguin. She climbed the seven volcanoes of the island and can help you find a guide.

Located near Burnham Park, this is one of the oldest restaurants in Baguio. It was built on the ruins of an old governor's house. The atmosphere is both rustic and warm with all the works of art and crafts. The place is popular with foreigners and Filipinos alike. Here is a bar-restaurant decorated like a boat with a nice terrace on the beach. One of its specialities is to light a barbecue every evening and to propose grilled meat. Specialized in meats, vegetarians are not forsaken for all that, there are in particular good skewers of vegetables in the Satay sauce. We also appreciate its shrimps (succulent). Also rooms available. Very popular with travelers and especially very appreciated by the locals. It is one of our favorite addresses for the atmosphere and the quality of the dishes.
