Cinemas Mexico

This independent cultural center offers a varied selection of films and documentaries highlighting Mexican cinema. On the upper floor, you'll find a charming tearoom and a small restaurant with a terrace offering a magnificent view. The two cinemas, though small, are brimming with personality, with their burgundy wallpaper and antique leather armchairs. Check out the film schedules on their website, or go directly to the cinema. Cine Tonalá is a unique space in the area: mostly independent cinema, the place also presents theater and music works. The vintage atmosphere is very nice, and the programming is really great. You can see some blockbusters, but also independent Mexican films. If you're in the mood for a one-man show, check out the website for a list of events.
