As the name of this paladar suggests, this gourmet establishment has the particularity of being installed on the terrace of an old colonial-style building, right next to the legendary Canchánchara. The space, nicely decorated and quite modest in size, gives the restaurant a romantic feel, especially at night, a feeling reinforced by the soft notes of cha-cha distilled by the musica en vivo band. As for the dishes, we find the great Cuban classics, with a special mention for the lobster.

In 1513, the Franciscan father Juan de Těšín celebrated on this street the first Christmas mass of the city. Today the building is detached from the style of the neighborhood thanks to its tiles and paintings. Stylish frame and very well-kept tables. For the little story, the restaurant bears the name of the tree el Jigüe, a great tree that was in front of the restaurant and this location well before the restaurant's existence… But this tree was destroyed by the 2012 cyclone, another was planted in the meantime but it's smaller.

Welcome to Factoria Plaza Vieja! A particularly nice terrace and interior for this elegant brasserie with its yellow façade and beautiful Spanish arches, overlooking Plaza Vieja. Choose between fast food at low prices - good tapas and hearty burgers - or more solid and well-cooked dishes, especially grills. Beer lovers, you'll be in heaven, because they are home-made! The mere sight of the tanks is enough to convince you.

Set in the walls of a charming wooden house dating back to 1879, it is probably one of the most famous addresses, not so much for its kitchen, frankly average or even disappointing, as for the pretty friendly frame (pleasant patio). Las Delicias of Don Tomás, a house specialty, would like to be faithful to the Spanish paella. This is only a very distant cousin… Side drinks try the Trapiche made with rum, pineapple juice and honey.

It is not often in Cuba that all products on the map are actually available. Special mention of the Marina Punta Gorda, which, besides being well furnished, offers the best fish dishes in the city. This former yacht club has naturally specialized in seafood. The view on the island will seasoned your evening.

This is not the luxury, far from it, but this restaurant open on the street can prove useful when it comes to dragging a little trough. The habitués pay in national currency, but your CUC will be accepted.

La Colina is both a very good restaurant with a beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the colonial city center, a casa particular and a bar where you can listen to live music every night! On the plate, you will be served the classic Cuban dishes including many grills, all well prepared and nicely presented. This restaurant is located in a magnificent and large colonial house with high wooden ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. The tables are covered with embroidered tablecloths and the dishes are refined. The cuisine offered is typically Cuban with the usual great classics but several dishes have an Indian touch because Lizaro, the owner, is a great passionate Indian. We recommend shrimps with curry. Please note: there is a choice of vegetarian dishes. Good wine list. Attentive service.
