A good way to eat healthy and an alternative to Cuban dishes. It is also worth noting that the cheese (especially goat cheese) used in the various dishes is made on the restaurant's own eco-friendly farm, which you can also visit. The space, nicely decorated and quite modest in size, gives the restaurant a romantic feel, especially at night, a feeling reinforced by the soft notes of cha-cha distilled by the musica en vivo band. As for the dishes, we find the great Cuban classics, with a special mention for the lobster.
EL JIGÜE
Read moreIn 1513, the Franciscan father Juan de Těšín celebrated on this street the first Christmas mass of the city. Today the building is detached from the style of the neighborhood thanks to its tiles and paintings. Stylish frame and very well-kept tables. For the little story, the restaurant bears the name of the tree el Jigüe, a great tree that was in front of the restaurant and this location well before the restaurant's existence… But this tree was destroyed by the 2012 cyclone, another was planted in the meantime but it's smaller.
