With the introduction of new trains in Cuba, schedules are variable. The train line that makes Havana/Cienfuegos is the same as the one that goes to Santa Clara. Count 30 UPCs in 1st class and 20 UPCs in 2nd class. We still advise you to inquire directly at the station as the rates may also change. However, be aware that even if the trains are new, the journey remains long because of the much too old rails.... If you're in a hurry, take the bus instead
